Feeling real good about our Mexican teams chances in this tournament.

South Americans will have to travel:
All the way north to Tijuana and then play in a synthetic field
Or face the high elevation in Toluca
Or head to Leon with a stadium that will be sold out all the time

    Yea, i agree

All 3 teams are in great form, unlike bunch of other times when you get teams like san luis or some other team in crappy form

Hopefully they can carry their current form to south america

1 Good thing about Leon, if they make it to the later rounds they could barrow some of the better Pachuca players.

That's a great point. The fake turf didn't really help Chivas at all though.

Leon vs. Iquique should be pretty good.

Grupo Pachuca takes International competition very seriously, so I am confident Leon will make the group.

True, but Mexico teams have to travel more frequently. Ever been on a 10 hour flight? Every other week is 10 hour flight I believe. It is very hard for Mexico teams.

Err... Is this 2010? They only played the final at Omnilife, since it hadn't been built till the match against Inter. Last year they got eliminated in the group stages with their fake turf and all.

    Good game so far.

    0 -1 Iquique

I think Leon will at least level it.

What's with Marquez being on the bench? Was he subbed out because he committed an error that lead to conceding the goal? Just started watching...

Wasn't able to see how they conceded the goal, but it looks like he's out with a hamstring injury.

From what I saw, Leon pretty much dominated, yet are losing 1 - 0. Deportes Iquique playing good defense, but they have to run out of gas sometime.
