In fairness it was a bit of a hack fest, but there were high points all the way through. Neither team could really capitalise on their chances, that was the problem - and the goalkeepers were in positively excellent form today as well.

I watched the game last night here in Chicago online (kickoff at midnight!), and thought the Roar played pretty well and were honestly unlucky not score more goals in the first half, especially during that flurry of shots in front of the CCM net.

Kudos to CCM just the same for not allowing BRFC to find the net too, and CCM had a couple chances themselves with no result. This game could have easily been 4-2 Roar.

Either way, glad to see the Roar win . . . at home.

    GO ROAR!!

Back in business now with the 3-0 win last night. Hopefully that can help spur the team into action.

Interesting, I seem to recall Okon was going to take over from Miron at the end of the season.

If they put Okon in at Farina's expense I can only imagine what this is going to add to the "derby" between the two clubs.

If no fans turn up is it still a derby?

If Moore gets disconnected prematurely from his contract it could be a blessing in disguise. I don't think the A-League's done any favours for his chances at going to one last World Cup, and I really don't believe anyone's thought otherwise, either. Even a move back to Scotland would be good if they're willing to take him back on.

I am not happy with the signing of Ange Postecoglou we surely could have gotten a much better coach than him.

To be fair he did have good success with South Melbourne. He simply couldn't cut it with the youth nationals, though. That's not to say he's going to do horrible things over at the Roar... we'll just have to wait and see what turns up.

I don't think he will do a horrible job at Brisbane I just don't think he is the right coach for the future of Brisbane Roar.

We needed some one with strong man management skills which Frank Farina lacked and I am not sure if Ange Postecoglou has that in him.

I am willing to give him a chance but time will only tell and I just hope for Brisbane's sake we bounce back from all this bullshit.

Another frustrating performance by Brisbane which is understandable but wtf was Bob Malcom doing at the back absolutely horrible defending.

We might as well have had Liam Reddy in place of Bob Malcom ffs.

Fck and McKay couldn't hit a ball on target even if the goals where 100m wide.

All this possession football is good but whats the point when no one can score and hardly anyone ventures into the oppositions six yard box.

Yeah, McKay couldn't hide the side of a barn yesterday, but at least he was taking a crack at it. Tell you what, though, Van Dijk was unlucky when Vukovic denied him that short-range header after they went up 1-0. I get the feeling things might have panned out a little differently if they managed to tie it up in the early first half.
