Skins grab a CB from Maryland at #3 http://voices.washingtonpost.com/re...evin-barnes-maryla.html?wprss=redskinsinsider Guess we don't need any OL's
Vick to the Iggles huh? I think it's a great move for them. They just got faster and more talented in the backfield. Meanwhile Skins fans brace for another 8-8 year, maybe if we're lucky....
well my steelers looked good.....better than the skins YUCK! yeah preseason dont mean shit, but wow, same mistakes, Fred dropping the ball, im a skins fan after the steelers, but jeez, we need a new owner who is HANDSOFF! 6-10 is my prediction after a 4-1 start
Come on now. Everyone's allowed one top-flight football team, and one lower-division local team. I mean, it DOES work that way in our football, too, right?
by a skins fan i mean i actually like watch the highlights of them..... oh wait, i guess i dont watch them
I'm a fan and I don't watch them. Lately it is too painful to watch a three plus hours horror/comedy show. Got better things to do with my time. (I love my alma mater--Terps, too. Same thing--for two sports.) I have basically become just a DCU fan.
Every other year I must ask about Terps football tickets... What are average ticket prices? I see regular individual season tickets can be purchased for as low as $140 with fees while the 3-game flex plan that includes Virginia Tech, a choice of Clemson, BC, Rutgers, or UVA and a choice of JMU or MTSU start at $83 with fees. What's an individual ticket go for? Do they vary based on opponent?
Man, that guy REALLY wants Ben's autograph... I don't blame him for being a fan though... And, lest I forget:
I don't think Brett Farve understands what the word "retirement" means . . . http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4406963
Pretty entertaining game for preseason last night. Jason Campbell looked poised. Good effort, I give him a solid B+
I'm just glad all the negative stuff about Campbell will die down some for a week. However, the talk about the backs and the kickers will likely reignite. Mason looks to have earned a spot, but he's still having to fight. I don't mind seeing players show extra fight for their spot, but there comes a point when a decision has to be made. I'm looking forward to a few roster spots being finalized. I also expect talk of Daniel to increase with his performance last night(I know he didn't play). Obviously Colt was up and down because rumors of him and Jessica Simpson had him down. I watched Chase Daniel in college. It wasn't until about three weeks ago that I realized his name was Daniel and not Daniels. WTF!? He needs to change it to Daniels.
Yeah, let's make this thread a Favre free zone. Jeebus. Was at FedEx last night. Preseason games don't really interest me, and they apparently don't interest many DC-ers either as the stadium was less than half full. Both teams played well, aside from the zillion penalties. How both teams went offside on a kickoff is ridiculous. Can't wait for regular season NCAAFB & NFL to kick into gear. This crap is just a tease.
It's really hard to get excited for NFL pre-season. I like seeing good competition. That sometimes comes as position battles, but even then it depends on so many other factors. I mostly like seeing new offenses. People can complain all they want about the effectiveness during the game of the Iggles offense, but they planted seeds that will worry every defense in the league and that is more important than a win or loss in the preseason. ******** espn and Gameday. Not one person picked VT to win the ACC or even make the championship game?
No, not Rich Rodriguez... Traitorous Bastard. WVU Mountaineers for me, thanks. Steelers by proxy, although, I must admit I don't watch much NFL action. I'll be more excited when the Caps take the ice again!
