Take away Addai's big run and the Colts still averaged 4 yds/carry. But they curiously stopped trying to run the ball. (PS : Does Caldwell ever blink ? We played a "drink if you see Jim Caldwell blink" and we only saw it happen once during a fair amount of extended closeups) Can't believe the SB had only 1 sack with all that passing. Texas might be in for a surprise. The Big Ten will bruise ya week in and week out. However, I would be real surprised to see this happen. The historic/traditional matchups in the Big 12 with Texas are just too big.
No thanks. It was bad enough when the Southwest Conference was disbanded. This would just be insulting. Originally the leadership was trying to get into the Pac-10, if you can believe that. Not for sporting reasons though.
Regarding your first point, they would adapt just fine. We used to be a primarily running/pound it down your throat kind of team.
