Yeah I know, hence why I said 'could'.

But I guess Zach does this every time even though he's promised to bring in new faces this match. Rather than bothering with some of the Euro guys it'd be better IMO to try Yamada, Takahagi or even Kakitani.

Those letters are just a formality anyway.
He did promise to bring new faces for this? I don't remember, This match is for the fitness... I hope so though! (and I also like those players)

Why not test the London 2012 players?

Suzuki deserves a shot, but the time will come for them.

that will happen in July. This is a match to regain fitness and see what's the physical situation of the players. Not that I'm happy about playing against Latvia...

And out of curiosity, what are those supposed players of the starting line up that needs to be changed? Because, the only one I think is, maaybe, Maeda (I don't like Konno much tbh but I have no idea who could replace him).
Well, Havenaar of course but he's just a supersub.

I had mixed feelings about winning against France. Of course I was happy as hell but at the same time I was afraid about getting too confident. That said, we still haven't lost in the last round of WC qualifications and we beat France so it's hard to contest things to Zac :/ (I say this in a negative way)

We talked about this long time ago, some romanian newspapers claimed that he could take romanian citizenship and play for their NT
    I think he's the Astra Giurgiu captain/vice-captain.

Well, he will test new players eventually; That's what I'm hoping for...

I think he was name captain briefly for some matches last season, not sure if he's still vice now though. About the romanian citizenship... he doesn't speak romanian lol (I remember him tweeting that saying sorry to a supporter haha)

That should be the only feeling ! or you're part of these people worried when they are too happy.

haha, I should have pointed out "only because it was a friendly" =p but you're right. In the end, I can't even complain at all if I look only at the results this team achieved so far. (argentina, asian cup, not-really-suffered-qualification, france)

We've been great since now. Zac has brought some improvements and the play has been more offensive than with Okada as coach. Now it's time to reach perfection: test some players, find the right "23", hope that CC in Brazil will be a success and prepare ourselves for the greatest (soccer) journey of our lives.

The same old names here, experimentation would have been nice to say the least.

If he plays, I hope Takahashi gets more than thirty seconds on the pitch.

haha yes, also nice predict Kato :D

about the experimentations: again, it's a match to watch the fitness of the players, but the regular ones. Not that I won't like to see other guys

Well,at least he dropped Kengo, and hopefully he'll drop him for good!
    Other noticeable changes:
    Mizumoto in for Kurihara
    Hayashi in for Nishikawa

With less than 18 months to WC, I think Zach is pretty settled with his starting XI and some of the subs, and he isn't settled yet on some fringe players.
Anyway that tells you that there is still room for 5-6 players to either keep their places or gain their places in WC squad.
