http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20130101-00000303-tospoweb-socc ToSpo but... Ogihara for Endo's successor sonn (according to someone from JFA).
Do they actually think in terms of "X is the successor of X" ? Especially since Ogihara shouldn't be the guy.
Not entirely. It's more of a problem with the 'what if he gets injured' problem unsolved for so many years and looking for a player who could substitute him in such situation. Not imitate. But also not changing too much in the team because of that.
Yeah it was a rhetorical question. At least they figured out Hosogai is not the guy, something striking since the beginning but for some it wasn't.
1. I think Saku wanted to paste a super awsome compilation of Gaku Shibasaki which would tell us that no way Ogihara, rather Shibasaku as Endo's successor.... 2. ....however...somewhere along the way in that Antlers emblem he was drawn to Osako once again and it ended up with this video instead 3. I have no problem with that whatsoever
What's all this talk about the East Asian Cup?? This "tourney" is one of the most useless things ever... Japan doesn't need to be playing against Korea, China, or any other asian country for that matter.. We don't need to be playing against countries that bring political matter to sports... so out of place.. We need to be playing against African, Central/South American, European countries at this stage of our NT.. I really hope we can stop participating in this meaningless sponsor money derived "tourney" Sorry to say it but Japan is too high profile at this point for this dumb tourney
Why not? Think about the pros and cons for Japan participating in this competition... Yes, there are far too many cons.... Do you really want us playing countries with motive to hurt our players just as much as actually winning the game? Get real, wtf do we have to gain?? Zac BETTER not call the 海外組 for this...
Oh please, not the "they hurt our players" stance, it's weak and we're not playing in China this year. Japan is located and Asia and this competition is a tradition. Get off your high horses, we're not Brazil, it's absolutely interesting to play against Korea, China or Australia. Or are you worried about what the resultat might mean ?
We won't be using the usual big name Europe based players anyway. This tournament is a good chance to see what our best domestic players have and some lesser known eu players
Otsu looking like he could get his first call-up. http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20130122-00000036-dal-socc
No, it's a misunderstanding. It's always the same thing. They sent letters to all of those that could be called up. You see even Tadanari Lee in that list, heck, even Yasuda.
