No idea what amount of money he was making in Brasil, but I'm sure he won't be playing for peanuts in Atlanta

Eric Hassli's gone from FC Dallas, probably won't happen but would love to see him in the NASL (or back in Vancouver but thats not gonna happen either).

He has a ranch in the Dallas area apparently, come on Scorpions, pry open your wallet and bring Hassli in!

Catching up on some moves from earlier this week and sharing some breaking news from today:

Indy adds Ben Spencer and Corby Moore

Edmonton signs Horace James, formerly of Atlanta. Good pacy option off the bench.

Ft. Lauderdale brings in RB Matt Hall and Chris Nurse. That signing of Nurse is especially nice.

Wow Indy 11 got Ben Spencer on loan from Molde? He is probably one of the highest rated youth players out of the US currently. RSL and Chivas essentially fought over his rights. His uncle is Toronto assistant coach and academy director Greg Vanney (who used to be Chivas asst coach and RSL academy director).

I didn't know about the Vanney connection. Interesting.

The signing definitely looks to be a coup, and you'd have to think that a Spencer/Mendes strike pairing has a lot of potential.

Whats even better, when you update your FIFA 14 Creation Centre teams, Ben Spencer already exists! ;)

Scorpions sign former MLS DP forward Hassli

    http://www.soccerbyives.net/2014/03/scorpions-forward-hassli.html

“Hassli is a landmark signing for our club,” said head coach Alen Marcina. “Hassli has been a Designated Player in MLS, has playing experience in French and Swiss top leagues in addition to Champions League. This is one more step to position ourselves to achieve our objective of competing for a NASL championship.”

A very nice signing by the Scorpions... It's really good to see all the player moves that have been taking place within NASL this year. I definately hope this will start to translate into an improved product on the field for all fans of American Soccer to enjoy.
