The Italian teams caught few breaks.

    Lord is Napoli's group difficult!
Juve going against probably the 2nd best team in the tournament.
Milan getting Barca again while having to contend with two teams that won't be easy.

Chelsea, PSG, and group G got off easy.

I think Juve style will be better suited against Real Madrid. They don't like top quality teams who defend well that can hit at counters easily..

They like playing against opened ended teams but struggle against organized defense. They are used to play fast counter attacking football, not patient possession..

Who knows this could go in your favor ;)

“It’s a tough draw with fascinating challenges,” Conte told the officialJuventus website.

“Real Madrid are one of the favourites for the trophy, one of Juve’s historic rivals in Europe and facing a side of such prestige will be very motivating.

“Galatasaray are a team to be feared, have notable quality and can count on a fiery home atmosphere in Istanbul.

“From our experience with Nordsjaelland last year, we learned about Danish football. Our focus has to be absolute against Copenhagen too.

“Unlike last season, we all know what awaits us now and the sensations you get facing the best teams in the world.

“We take on this competition with more experience and awareness of our capabilities, but also a precise idea in our minds: for us Europe is a dream to be chased, knowing that the more we can keep that dream going, the better we’ll get.”

First two are a must win given that the first fixture involves the weakest side and the second a home tie. As long Juve can start in a positive manner, the Madrid situation is less worrying as long as Madrid also take full points off everyone else.

Group has a similar feel to last year accept Real > Chelsea and perhaps Gala a bit < Shaktar.

I was just about to say, 6 points out of the first to fixtures is vital.

i say its pretty much the same. altho real might be > chelsea, the diff is the chelsea game was our very first game in CL and it was away. at least with madrid we have some cushion if we win the first 2 and they win theirs..that way those games are less stressful. Shakhtar is same as gala to me. and the danish side is better than that other side we faced last year.

Let's say it could have come worse. Let's hope that Conte's guys won't drop points against Copenhagen again.

Sneijder, Drogba and Burak are the most dangerous players of Galatasaray, and Real Madrid speaks for itself.

I think a draw in Turin is possible, a draw in Bernabeu can only be possible if you park the bus imo.

The quest to become 2nd in this group will be interesting.

Yeah like last time ADP ripped you apart by himself at the Bernabeu and Madrid haven't won in Torino since 1961. Good Luck buddy.

Galatasaray are about to sell their best player to Lazio. Shakthar were a much better team in my opinion. In fact they still might be.

Ya that scares me. Not so much against us but with him i think they have a chance to win it all.

All Italian teams have the chance to reach the quarter finals. For all 3 it won't be easy, but obviously, we are ranked as 2nd best in this group and we might stunt against Madrid. We have done it in the past with a worse team than we have now.

Napoli won't get ahead of Dortmund, but Arsenal are a mess and have had a horrible transfer window. Arsenal are one of my fav teams but i don't see them doing better than Napoli.

Milan should defeat Ajax like they did with PSV and losing away to Celtic isn't horrible. Just win it at home to take the 3 points.

It would be pretty cool if we get 3 Italian teams in the QF this season.

I can't see Milan and Napoli make 1st in their group so they probably will not advance from R16... They will be playing 1st place group heavy weights most likely..

I can see Juve make it to QF at least.

Drogba is worrisome. A clutch beast of a player who can decide a match through willpower and often has. I hope he has declined sharply.
