JFL at its best: five teams tied with 16 points on top of the table.

BTW, Kamatamare is yet to bye one round, so they have good chances to slip from promotion zone.

Considering Kuriyama is fairly close to Biei (for Hokkaido standards, at least!) I seriously hope to see a Thank FC-Grazie derby one day :D

I guess they're the level-up version of Libero Tsugaru? They had been around for a while, and don't figure in the Aomori League rankings anymore.
Hope they get promoted next year for a threeway rivalry with Rein Meer and Vanraure :D

Just checked the site, quite neat. They already have twitter and facebook account. The mascot design also good, what is it? CMIIW, "Blancdieu" = "White God"?

Aomori is football wise problematic, 3 cities equal in size in an already small and poor prefecture, with 3 rivalling clubs..... thats even a worse situation than Yamaguchi is in.

And they've created a YouTube channel, where they've uploaded the full game against Togawa Kickers.

It can be found in the top corner of the site, but the link to their YouTube profile is here.

I can't help but wonder how many clubs do something like this. (And if Blancdieu will continue to upload games on a regular basis.) I'd love to watch some regional games.

For anyone keeping an eye on Tokyo 23 FC, they've been eliminated from the Kanto regional qualifiers of this year's Shakaijin. This means that, unless they get some kind of Sagamihara-esque wild card, they can be counted out of promotion to the JFL for another twelve months.

There are suggestions on Twitter that the Tohoku League Division 1 will be expanded to ten teams for the 2013 season. Currently it has seven teams rather than the normal eight, due to the folding of NEC Tokin.

The likely method of adding the three teams is:
    • no relegation this year, plus
    • automatic promotion of the champions in both Division 2 (North) and Division 2 (South), plus
    • promotion of the winners of a play-off between the runners-up of Division 2 (North) and Division 2 (South)
Division 2 (North) is more or less a two-horse race between FC Ganju Iwate and Vanraure Hachinohe, with Ganju leading after a 1-0 win in Hachinohe last weekend. In Division 2 (South) it's a straight fight between Bandits Iwaki and the mighty Cobaltore Onagawa.

There are also suggestions on Twitter that Tokyo 23 FC have indeed been awarded a wild card to participate in the finals of this year's Shakaijin.

The regional qualifying tournaments for the Shakaijin were concluded in Kanto and Tokai today, Sunday. The finalists from these regions are as follows:

    Kanto

    1. AC Almaleza
    2. FC Korea
    3. Hitachi Building System
    4. Saitama SC
    5. Toho Titanium
    6. Yokohama Takeru

    Tokai

    1. Chukyo University FC
    2. FC Kariya
    3. FC Suzuka Rampole
    4. Toyota FC

Best news ever, since I want Vanraure in Div1 so bad but I don't see Ganju losing/drawing any of the 5 remaining games... kind of fair to Vanraure who gets at least a chance to go up anyways, after they had a fantastic 2011 season (10-0-0 record, one goal conceded in 10 games, no promotion/relegation though because of the tsunami tragedy).

Dont forget that Vanraure won those records because the other teams had practical troubles.

Only 3rd. Club in current season JFL, then theres Sagamihara in Regional League.

Just remember getting a J-Leaggue associate membership doesnt promote them, there main problem is still the stadium use (unless they plays at Matsumotos Stadium).

Their main challengers were Ganju Iwate from Morioka (inland Iwate prefecture), TDK from Nikaho and Rein Meer from Aomori. Out of the four I think Hachinohe was the most affected from the tsunami/earthquake..
The only serious contenders who didn't take part were Cobaltore and Bandits, both from the Southern block...

Innland might not been flooded but dont say that the inland werent affected by the disaster, Just simple things as general problems with the infrastructure could be difficult enough for the clubs, or small things as a club playing inland having playing coming from the shore areas etc....... and yes I am aware that Hachinohe was flooded but I think nothing was normal last season.

Argh was going to post the result.

Anyways cant find out if Fukushima United are losing momentum, Norbritz are not that strong and it seems in the tohoku League that Grulla Morioka are a little bit stronger than Fukushima this season.

That must be Yamaguchis sole chance to make to the regional Playoffs so poorly they have played in the Chugoku Regional League.
