Anyone know how long Henry's contract is? He must be so frustrated with NY right now. I wonder if leaving or a trade are realistic options for him...

Houston looks poised to give DC a battle. I think Houston will make it to the final again. DC is without their starting GK, and Houston has tons of momentum.

So maybe we will host MLS Cup!

Houston also has 2 extra days of rest, and DC needs to travel to play there on Sunday.

That was a pretty entertaining match.

Marquez is a disgrace by the way.

It will be interesting to see how NY's offseason will go. Hans Backe might be gone. Moves will definitely be made...spending so much money with so little success must be saddening for fans.
What will Henry do? He's already shown that he's not extremely happy with the team...maybe another loan with Arsenal?

Henry was standing in front of a free kick late in the game, the crowd was chanting his name, I thought he was going to bury it. Then his teammate takes the shot and skies it into the cheap seats. You could see Henry melt.

This ref is letting RSL and Seattle beat the crap out of each other. I hope we don't see him again, though it is fun to watch tonight.

I see red cards and/or injuries in this one the way things are going.

It's also looking like there will be overtime and PKs.

A Dairy Queen shoutout? In a nationally televised playoff broadcast? SMH

And why is Tiffert playing with a jersey with no number or name?

I know nobody wanted the play-in game, but it is nice knocking off the #1 seed. We'll have an extra day of rest, Houston will have 2.

    OT and PK's tonight!

Houston played yesterday too, and their semifinal is the same day as ours. Where does their extra day come from? Do you mean the second leg?

I guess the extra day comes from the wine I've been drinking. I think they were originally scheduled to play on Saturday, so the delay in NY/DC helps them out. But as you pointed out, they are on the same schedule as we are now.

I was hoping for RSL for that reason, but Rimando has been on fire, so I'm OK with this.

I hope it's good wine - a robust Chinon or Howell Mountain Cab or something comparable!
