Meanwhile, both Kurihara and Maeda are still there. Kurihara and Maeda, the importance of being nothing and useless.

Maeda came on for Morimoto some minutes before halftime. Now H. Sakai and Takahashi were on for Uchida and Hasebe.

Not a bad start by Sakai, Honda was unlucky there.

Since Kagawa went out I didn't like us much. Especially in defense :/

Has anyone found out why Honda played as number 4?

Maybe it was just a random choice, like he said "I'm the boss here and I play with the number I want"

I'm not sure if there's enough decent highlights from that match, Kagawa's goal was nice but Okazaki's was mishit and deflected off the defender. Second half was a bit stale but it was good to see Miyaichi and Sakai and co making their debut. Takahashi had one nice cross to Okazaki.

Here's detailed (yeah, as much as details about his thinking process as possible in this matter) story from first hand if you'd like to dig a bit more about that ;)

Thank you for the goals. Now if someone could supply the link where we can watch the replay (or download it) it would be great :)

He has like 27 goals in 49 matches or something like that? Amazing stats.
