Big surprise both Gamba and Kobe goes down, and Niigata makes it. Only Cerezo in the J1 from Kansai next season, has that ever happened? OK 1995 but....... ^^ LOL Oh god reminds me this is not funny at all Kyoto will have difficulties getting up next season XD
It seems like wrestlers that went to Yamaha actually are doing their job keeping supporters away from the pitch
I can make a joke too right plus artml said it well I said it before if Gamba go down this year Fujigaya is one of the main culprits and no I am not being harsh on him. Reality check
I counted and in Round 18, 27 and 28 is directly Fujigaya's fault. Here are the videos directly linked to where it happens in the video. (Round 18 @ 2m 27s) (Round 27 @ 1m 31s) (Round 28 @ 0m 58s) In the games above, we gave up a foolish goal which in turn gave us 2 losses and a tie which could have heavily been used. If not, Gamba would have gotten 5 points more.
Not really, you can't take something away and expect all the other things to go the same way. That's sci-fi.
There were other mistakes from Fujigaya as well. From the top of my head the opening game against FC Tokyo when Lucas scored from distance and there were others...oh there were...
Fault here, fault there, fault everywhere... Let's be honest: We drop to J2 with good value. It's not like there's one culprit to blame. It was a sequel of errors from day 1 to to 34. And we deserve to go down. Fujigaya was horrible,we tried with the second keeper and he broke. Our defenders were poor and vulnerable all season long.We defended poorly from CKs,FKs,suffered from counter attacks and under pressure. Midfield was tired and worn out in their key figures. Upfront we were poor from the start except for Sato. Then Sato broke,we rushed to get Leandro and Ienaga but never build up anything on them. A fairly trained team from J2,like Fagiano or newcomers Matsumoto, were miles ahead of us in terms of tactical wisdom...
Just checked some Gamba boards, and it seems that Fujigaya are rumoured to stay after this season. ^^'
I fail to see where he screwed up vs us... Tomisawa's header was a bullet, and Saitos came off a hard shot from Oguro. He was much worse in other games. Anyways their relegated for other reasons.
I've always had a liking for the Reds, so I'm sad to see Gamba gone- they're one of our historical rival (well everyone hates the Reds in Japan, but that's another story) and I will miss our clash next season! As for Vissel... I won't really miss them, to be honest. But it must have been an heartbreaking season for a Niigata fan- relegation zone for pretty much the whole championship, managed to not lose completely touch from the rest and stay reasonably competitive, and saved themselves from relegation at the very last matchday, while most people already assumed them as relegated... they were great at not surrending to pressure and never losing hope. I hope some changes will be made next season for them
http://www.sponichi.co.jp/soccer/news/2012/12/02/kiji/K20121202004681470.html So that's how it went in Kobe... That was a mess. Seems like too many people there lost the sense of what they're there for.
I read somewhere that he was nominated for 2012 team MVP by Gamba... #delusional Gamba's second keeper, Kimura, was single handedly responsible for denying Marinos a win at Nissan in May. It was massive, massive loss for them when he broke his leg, he was that much better than Fujigaya. I'm still astounded that they didn't get reinforcement for this position as they did up front in getting Leandro. It may not be fair to put the whole responsibility for relegation on Fujigaya's shoulders, but he was a significant factor and part of a shambolic, brittle defence.
That all said, it's the front office that has to take the brunt of the blame with the complete botching of transition from Nishino to a new manager.
I'm not a big fan of sacking a manager half way through a season. Higuchi took time to settle in at Marinos. That time unforunately cost us an ACL birth and possibly the league. BUT he will be back next season.
JSoccer Magazine @JSoccerMagazine J.League Manager of the year . . . suprise!!! Hiroshima's MORIYASU! Too bad that can't be a tie between Moriyasu and Sagan's coach.
J.League Best XI GK Nishikawa DF Komano, Tulio, Mizumoto MF Takahagi, Endo, Aoyama, Leandro Dominiguez FW Wilson, Toyoda, Sato That makes it 10 years for Yasuhito Endo on being Best XI for MF in the J-League. What a record.
