Notsuda, Suzuki, Ueda. And ?... The rest isn't better than that we could have, isn't it ? JFA has forgotten many players. Just an example : Ishige has disappeared from young teams since one or two years, while he is often a starter with Shimizu.
No. This was South Korea National League U-23 select team, so a team of U23 players from semi-pro teams. Most of the players are one time starlets who flopped. Kim Sunmin was in the U20 squad for the 2011 u20 world cup, and there are other players who played in the U-17 and U-16 teams. I thought it would be obvious that the Japan, with their actual U23 1.5 team would win (correct me if I'm wrong here. Korean press are nortorious for BS).
Sorry? The japanese team is an U20 team... it's composed of a couple of players from the 2011 U17 WC and some others U20...
U-20? Wow. But are they still professionals? My bad. The only source of information is the everso useless and inaccurate Korean tabloids.
sure, they are all enrolled in a JLeague or J2 side, even if they hardly see any play time with the first team, of course. But some are still very good prospects. We're also playing AFC U19 qualifications so some like Havenaar jr. , Minamino, Takagi were sent there.
I add that Suzuki, Ueda, Notsuda or Kida are born in 94 (not 93), so we could say it's a U19 team But yeah, most of these players (except Notsuda) doesn't play a lot with their clubs, contrary to players like Ishige, Minamino, Iwanami, Endo, Oshima, Kumagai, Kubo.
Also China won 3-0 against Macau which means that a draw would still see us on top with direct qualification.
Ok im confused here. It seems there are two male teams playing in china currently. U-20 in the East Asian Games and the U-19 in the AFC Championship. So which results are which? also another U-17 in UAE for a World Cup event.
It's simple as the AFC qualification is pretty short. The team with Havenaar and Minamino is playing in the AFC and has played only Macau and Malaysia. Next and last is China. All the results you saw in pdf form are for the other competition. We have another topic for the U17.
Scorers: 越智大和(3分)、金子翔太(24分=PK)、宮市剛(77分)、南野拓実(79分)、三浦弦太(86分) sorry got no time now but there's Minamino and Miyaichi's bro on the scoresheet (79' and 77') lineup: GK 23 田口潤人 DF 2 内山裕貴 DF 3 三浦弦太(C) DF 4 広瀬陸斗 DF 5 内田裕斗 MF 6 望月嶺臣 MF 7 川辺駿 MF 16 小川直毅 (62分→FW 8 宮市剛) MF 27 小屋松知哉 (62分→FW 13 南野拓実) FW 11 越智大和 (87分→FW 9 北川柊斗) FW 15 金子翔太
... 0-0 against Hong Kong in the asian games lol Wonder what the lineup was... at this point North Korea should win the tourney unless something happens. Oh well
Hong Kong has 5 players with A national team caps. Similar squad to North Korea. Those two took the competition seriously.
Draw with China (asian Cup U19 qualifiers). Not fantastic but Japan keeps the first position of the group.
He moves likes Loïc Remy, that's funny. That'd be cool if his skills and instincts became average, he could be a good player.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_at_the_2013_East_Asian_Games It seems all the teams are U23 except Japan... Why???
