Ugh. Working on the scrolled update but this must be a Windows 98 era computer so it didn't work first time. I'll get it online but first here's my pick.

A quick explanation. This guy was going to be a cagey pick in the teens for me but clearly Steve Bruce and all the VSR managers didn't get my gag order! So since he's vital to my plans and irreplacable at his salary, I present the following, paranoia-induced pick:

Naively optimstic on my part, no doubt, but I just had a feeling he's going to look more like the 05-06 version than the 06-07 one....

 

Like you I'm not in London -- but unlike you it's because I'm languishing lazily at my parents' house. Such is the glory of being a teacher: for about 6 weeks a year I'm allowed to abandon the illusion that I have any interest in accomplishing anything whatsoever. Except for this fantasy draft, of course.

We may run into a long pause now as Crazybox, with the best intentions, sent me a proxy pick as he was expecting to be away today. Little did he know we'd make so much progress last night. To keep things going, let's give him Luque.

Bummer. I had actually been thinking since we had made the turn this early that we would now be rolling and might actually make a double pass today. Oh well. Does anyone have his e-mail and can we try to reach him that way? I'll check in later, but I suppose it won't kill me to take a day off!

 

I've sent him a PM but I also see on his profile that he can be reached by various types of instant messenger and even Skype. Again, not being on my own computer, those options aren't available to me, but someone else can try I suppose.

Still, considering our goal is to finish by Aug 4, ideally, I think we're in good shape. And incidentally here's a perfect example of the way these 10 hour windows work: technically he'll probably violate the window, but as they're more of a guiding principle than a heartlessly enforced rule, we'll just wait for a day.
