Where are the job creators? They have the lowest taxes in history? Why aren't they creating jobs? The government can't create jobs. Government spending doesn't create jobs. Job Creators Create Jobs. (JCCJ).

Where are the jobs, oh captains of industry? We have given to thee the low tax rates, the 15% capital gains, the loopholes, practically negative rates of borrowing? Oh why has thou forsaken us, oh job creators?

Haven't you heard? Excessive regulation. It costs the job creators so damn much to have to put up all those signs and whatnot.

No, for real. No bogus excuses about uncertainty and regulators. What's up with JCCJ? The job creators got their lower taxes ... where is the payoff?

W's economics will eventually provide for near-full employment, with the 90% of the iceberg in minimum-wage service jobs, seeing to the needs of the 10% in the tip.

People make jokes all the time about job creators being a rich guy who hires Mexicans do mow his lawn, but that's not a joke. The job creator of the future is an MIT grad who works in technology and who hires cheap labor to make his non-work life as easy and pleasurable as possible. Colonial economics.

Not realistically, no. The public has bought off on the notion of lower taxes (except for the very wealthy) and won't budge. I guess you could blame Obama for not slashing the military budget, but really ... he has no chance of passing that either.

Seriously, why does Obama care what the public thinks in his second term? If the economy doesn't pick up his presidency will be remembered for drones, a bad economy and little else. He needs to do something.

Actually at this point I think Obama's administration would be remembered most for the extreme and largely irrational opposition to it. His presidency itself has been pretty bland.

NEWS FLASH - Capital Gains jumped and are now at 25% for job creaters. And Obama wants to hike the minimum wage to $9. Good luck with that job killing proposal. Perhaps we would do well to stop electing lawyers and start electing economists?

    1) First black POTUS
    2) Obamacare
    3) Fierce Congressional opposition
    4) Maybe Osama Bin Laden
    5) Maybe gay rights

That's what it looks like halfway in. But nobody knows. Biggest memory of Ronnie today is perhaps the Berlin Wall coming down, none of that was in sight at the start of his first term.

    1) Economic mailase
    2) Unemployment at 8%
    3) Black unemployment off the charts
    4) Golf handicap still embarassing even after weeks on the course.

Barry isn't Ronnie, he is Jimmy, only suckier.

Given that the other 50% tend to believe Fox News and display other symptoms of dementia, that would be pretty good.

    I see your ;) and raise you a :D

I'd blame the Eric Cantor wing of the Republican party who decided that they simply will not participate in governing the country after 2010 expecting that they would have the White House and Senate. 2 years lost with nothing getting done.

It's hard to govern when approx. 25% of people in congress want to destroy the government. That's an imposing ideological bloc that will go a long way in dictating the agenda if they're willing to sabotage anything that makes government better
