You're a moron. Seriously, a complete ********ing moron. But just because you've repeated the above D-- claim several times, you might be interested to know that there were over 1 million more votes cast for Democratic House members than Republicans. The mandate to keep the Republicans in the majority of the House was purely a result of gerrymandering. So you can take that talking point and stuff it up your ass where it will find the company of nearly everything else you've copied and pasted onto these boards for the last several months. You want a link? http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-...e-mandate-with-more-democrat-house-votes.html I degrade myself by responding to you.
Lol. I don't even have to hit the "show ignored content" button to know what is being said. Tired and predictable.
You are probably right. However, the Democrats would have benefited from gerrymandering if they could have. Again, the American people voted status quo. Re-elected President Obama. Re-elected the Democrats to the Senate. If they weren't happy with the House Republicans should have voted them out.
No one has responded to how little letting the Bush tax cuts expire for those over $250,000 affects either the deficit or debt.
I already addressed that. Nothing to say on how the Republicans plan to simply close loopholes equates to a tax increase on the middle class?
I don't think you did. The math doesn't add up. 100 billion from letting the Bush tax cuts expire on the top two percent. The country is 16 trillion in debt. 16 trillion divided by 100 billion is 160. 160 is the number of years to pay the debt off through eliminating the Bush tax cuts for the top two percent. The Republicans want to close loopholes for everybody (the President said he wants balanced). By the way - the President already has raised taxes on the middle class. It is the Affordable Care Act.
And I said it's a start. Why do the Republicans only announce they want to cut NPR and Planned Parenthood when that would save only a few hundred million? That's ok, but raising 100 billion isn't? Hypocrisy. Because obviously that's the only thing that should be done. Brilliantly done, BRAVO! So they want to raise taxes on the middle class? Ah, this one again. Here's the Republican "plan." Noose Hour
Where is the rest of the money coming from? Taxes will have to be raised on the middle class. President Obama knows this as well. The only way he can do that is to raise taxes on the top two percent - then raise them on the middle class. As I said before, President Obama has already raised taxes on the middle class - the Affordable Care Act. Even if you taxed the
http://www.forbes.com/sites/danbigm...ax-the-rich-the-rich-dont-have-enough-really/ Tax the rich - the rich don't have enough. If you taxed the rich at 100 percent - it only nets 616 billion.
Obama's victory means Republican attempts at voter suppression will largely go unaddressed and will possibly get worse. Another Obama failure.
Something Schapes would get behind: Ted Nugent says anyone on welfare shouldn't be allowed to vote. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/04/ted-nugent-fiscal-cliff_n_2238490.html?utm_hp_ref=politics Though, really, that would take a lot of Southern states out of play...
If the House of Representatives has a vote. Republicans vote together. Democrats vote together. Who wins?
What disappoints me is President Obama failed to listed to Connie Mack. Every federal dollar spent - .01 goes towards the debt. An Obama failure.
Obama had Sharpton, Maddow, and other MSNBC hosts to tne White House. Was it to... A) Get advice on being ignored? B) Give talking points orders? C) Find out which host is most manly? D) Brush up on his socialism? E) Find out about latest racism in right wing America?
To repeat a cliche...Rachael Maddow is more woman than youll ever have and more man than youll ever be.
My colleague tried to fax something. She forgot to dial the 9 to get out of the office. She is a federal employee. Obama Fail We are still using a fax machine and not telepathy. Isn't that how we are being brainwashed? Obama Fail
While we're at it, how about states that are effectively on welfare give up their congressional seats and electoral votes?
Boehner says the rich will pay more taxes. http://www.cnn.com/2012/12/05/politics/fiscal-cliff/ An Obama failure.
My god. Just think if the heads of a major cable "news" network tried to get a General to run for the presidency...
