But t's a good hectic for the club, on this day the club's identity will become a reality to the World. This will make news in England for sure as well as this side of the pond, and it's a proud moment for all New York City Football Club supporters. Now there is a physical image and identity to the club they'll support for years and hopefully generations to come.

I hope the shop doesn't crash.

    Will buy something.

Wonder if majorleaguesoccersoccer.com will add the logo to the site as well?

i thought the shield was more unique, they should have used it. The circle design is plain jane and just like everything just another one in the haystack.

    mixing both was best look

The shape of the shield is too busy though.

I realize its from the NY flag but still...

Over 100,000 people spoke and the majority of them picked this design as the winner!

The circle badge is good but could of been more profesional, maybe darker or a shiny kind of coloring, had potential, but this will do, atleast the subway badge wasnt a train wreck ,hahaha

I'm just happy they didn't come up with an exploding building badge like the 96 Metros logo.

They are missing a great opportunity. They should be selling merchandise with just the monogram. It would look great on a cap.

I have no doubt they will eventually sell stuff with just the monogram, but right now I think they are just trying to get the badge that the fans voted for out on the market.

It looks exactly like a '60s subway token.

Email the FO & I'm sure they'll have monogrammed merch by the Xmas holidays!

I'd love to get a NYCFC version of that shirt. Sooo comfortable.

I definitely want it as well. In the NYCFC online shop, they have a promo code bar when you checkout. Does anyone here happen to have one they could share? ;)

Caps, hoodies, T-shirts and scarfs must have been manufactured almost overnight to be ready for the launch and being delivered to the shops simultaneously.

At a guess we will see much more merchandise in due time.

I think so too. Also, it makes more sense to roll the badge with the "New York City Football Club" first, to establish the overall team name as a brand. After all, the monogram is "just NYC" for people that have no clue about the team yet. Once the brand recognition and association with the badge and monogram is more firmly established we will see lots of monogram gear! :)
