Fb has been pretty active with comments, so seems like alot of ppl are pumped up about it. I dont know if anyone else noticed this but when they presented the empty seal/circle it seemed the seal won hands down . But when they added the designs the circle seems like the winner.

So a week from now we´ll know.. :coffee:

That said I would be surprised if the circular one is not presented, not that I think the actual badge will be as important as the interlocked letters really if we talk branding.

The winning one will have TWO pentagons. What more could you ask for?

A logo that doesn't look like a million other teams around the world.

They are barely visible. The PRIMARY shape of the logo should be a pentagon. Using a pentagon as the logo would link the club to the five boroughs in a way that a stupid subway coin never could. And it would be one of the most unique logos in the world. The boroughs are more synonymous with the city than the subway ever could be. I mean, Cleveland has a subway for crying out loud. A terrible missed opportunity that I hope they rectify in a few years.

Pentagon is kind of an awkward shape. I'm glad the pentagon is represented the way it is.

I don't think the pentagon is
i like how he drew a yankees logo with a c around it, and a knicks logo on there 3 different ways. [IMG]

Teams have used interlocking letters and circles since the very beginning. Often copying designs from each other doing so but I can´t say that it reminded me of Inter really, more like Real Madrid perhaps..

Yeah, a lot of us were hoping they'd take a "Best of Both Worlds" approach, based on feedback.

I love the shield design but can't stand the multi-colored monogram. As you can see on the cap, it looks amazing in all-white.

It's not going to happen, but a boy can dream...

If the shield badge is not going to be copyrighted (apart from the letters) a supporters group could adopt it in some way.. Just put something inside

I could actually see them going with a navy blue primary. Just to enforce the point that they are not man city usa...

How about navy shirt, light blue shorts, navy socks, with a little orange trim on there somewhere
