Bringing 4 kids from MC on loan w/ Kreis and Reyna in charge in no way makes them anything like Chivas.
The loaning of CDG players to CUSA was not the problem with CUSA. The problem was always that CUSA's owners were largely incompetent in how they ran the other elements of CUSA. So far NYCFC has been light years ahead of the overall operations of the club than where CUSA was.
Another factor is that CDG had been run poorly at the same time. Right now, ManC is a top-notch organization.
Jason Kreis interview from this morning. Starts at minute 32 -Wants to be an attacking, possession based, and high pressing team -David Villa will go out on loan but it won't be to Manchester City. But he can't specify which team or where he's going. But they do already have something worked out. -Talked about possibly bringing an American back from Europe through the allocation process since they'll be ranked either #1 or #2. It's something they are highly considering right now.
Jason kreis' assistant coach graduated from the same HS as me, Shenendehowa, is a huge soccer school, kind of cool
He can go to Melbourne for up to ten games without changing contract (good P.R and might sell a few shirts).. He might of course also make a visit to Yokohama where CFG got a 19.9% stake. no doubt Nissan who holds the 80.1% might weave in a commercial or two there as well to the profit of everyone involved. Or he might go anywhere but to MCFC apparently..
Former Philly goalkeeper coach joins NYCFC staff. http://www.nycfc.com/post/2014/12/22/rob-vartughian-joins-new-york-city-fc-coaching-team So this gives NYCFC : Jason Kreis Mikes Joseph CJ Brown Rob Vartughian Not bad.
Vartughian grew up in Queens, nice to get a local guy (also read he's a Yankees fan). Plus he's a fellow Armenian... I knew I would love this team
