It's a fact that RSL gave permission to Kreis and Kreis did visit NYCFC and ManCity. The delay? He's in the freakin MLS Cup with the team he is still under contract with (until Dec 31 2013).
In other words.. Nothing is signed yet but it looks likely I don´t buy this "I´ll make a decision after the season", he must have talked about it with his family for months and the easy decision would be just to resign with RSL or state that he wish to remain with them if a new contract is sorted. This silence speaks volumes
Yeah he already has his decision made. Kreis is just letting things simmer until he makes his announcement.
It's official! NYCFC just announced the signing of Kreis. http://nycfc.com/News/Latest-News/2013/December/Head-Coach

Considering no one in MLS has even been to 4 finals like that in the last 6 years, you get what you get.

Spending time in Manchester to study the coaching?.. Rather like a kid in a candy store I suspect, I want him, him and him!...
Really good 14 minute audio interview with Kreis. Talks about why he wanted the NYCFC job and reflects on his time at RSL. http://espn.kall700sports.com/jason-kreis-former-rsl-coach-12-11-13/
If you guys truly care about what kind of coach you are getting, watch this interview RSL made about Kreis leaving, pretty insightful. Although its RSL-centric, I think his comments could be seen as relevant to what he will try to do in NYC. Noticed that there´s a press meeting where Kreis and the media will sit down and have a chat this friday..
It seems to be a bit more than just a press conference as some NYCFC top brass will attend..apart from Kreis and Reyna we got Soriano and Txiki there as well. So that´s the all the guys involved with the soccer stuff under the surveillance of Soriano (CEO) that is. And there´s a livestream at nycfc.com at 11.am from this "introduction".
