Thought it would be nice to have a catch-all thread for all non-NWSL games NWSL teams play. There's a similar thread in the MLS N&A forum, though I'm including in-season friendlies here as well since a couple teams are advertising season ticket packages that include a friendly as a 12th game, and I'm hopeful at least one NWSL team participates in the USASA Open Cup. I remember reading a few days ago on twitter that one of the teams planned on having one of their preseason matches on streamed webcast. I think it was KC.
It wasn't announced who it would be against, or what date. Just that it would seemingly be the first ever NWSL streamed webcast.
It's been reported on the Washington Spirit schedule thread that their 4/3 match in College Park is at 7 pm.
Where'd you read that? It's not currently on the GJayhawks' schedule page. ...At least it sounds like FCK City will be playing at least once preseason game, whoever they play. X-D It's too bad the W-League/WPSL season is so short, as teams from those league would be much better preseason prep than NCAA teams. Anyway, updates:

Alright.... I delayed updating since I wanted to add more than just two games, but it seems NWSL teams are either keeping preseason plans quiet or just don't have any. No info out of Boston yet. I think it is safe to assume they will play BC at some point. I think the question is whether they make a trip to Florida or the mid-Atlantic once the training bubble comes down at Harvard in mid-March if there is still snow on the ground.
Oh yeah! Thanks for reminding me that some teams have go-to schools! I just went digging and saw that CHI is on Northwestern's spring schedule, April 7th. Note to self: doing a quick Google search [nwsl "spring schedule"] is great for results. CHI is also slated to play on Marquette's on March 24th Penn State apparently also has WNY scheduled (March 23rd) in addition to DC. FCK City is in fact facing the GayJayhawks, though according the the 'hawk's website the date and time are still TBD. I'm pretty certain about one pre-season game the Thorns have on their schedule, but so far there's no official announcement of it and I'm not for blogging about rumors.
Where did you hear that rumor? The NCAA has a rule against overnight travel and flying for Spring games, so Stanford isnt flying North. I'm pretty sure the Thorns aren't going to Palo Alto.
Somewhere online I read about it. Not from an official press release though. So it's not confirmed. It said that Parlow Cone was aspiring to play some top college teams out west in preseason, including the best overall team out west, and it was assumed then she was referring to Stanford.

WNY has announced 3 more pre-season games. Will play at Sahlen Sports Park in Elma (outside Buffalo). From wnyflash.com : The Flash will host Canisius College on March 15th, Penn State University on March 23rd, and Ohio State University on March 30th. Kickoff for all three games will be at 2 pm at Sahlen Sports Park in Elma, N.Y.
