http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsus/Quakes/at00lqe6x3.php A 5.8(prelim#) hit VA not too long ago. That's would be a big number even for the west coast, but out east where there aren't codes for it... Hope everyone is okay!
I'm fine, but they shut down my workplace (Goddard Space Flight Center) and sent me home. Washington National Cathedral was damaged along with a couple other local churches. Some damage also reported in Richmond, VA - the largest significant city near the epicenter.
My Building (45 Minutes west of Philly) was shaking in waves for 5 minutes and we all got up and left the building till we found out what happened.... strange sensation
