http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/12/10/astrodome-towers-demolished-video_n_4414585.html Part of the Astrodome has already been demolished. But what's this I hear that it could still be saved, what if it does gets recognized as a landmark, what would happen then?
Some bill or private donor still has to be had to come up with the cash to HAZMAT the old gal. Even to let it just sit as a tour spot is has to be sanitized and made human being safe.
To Celt's point, I don't think they can just leave it any longer. I think they need to spend money getting it up to code or be forced to demolish it.
You think Obama is responsible for this? http://www.uproxx.com/sports/2013/1...nocked-mall-doors-hinges-get-new-air-jordans/ http://www.cnycentral.com/news/story.aspx?id=983383#.Uq9d6lWzKpg And I thought Black Friday was bad enough.
And once they get these shoes, how many will be injured or killed for them? Year or two ago one of my friends son got robbed at gunpoint in Willowbrook Mall for his.
Year or two ago! Sheet, in SWAT circa 1990 I knew a dude that always wore the latest Jordans. Yeah, he got robbed. Starter jackets were "lethal" as well. If you matched a Raiders starter jacket with some new Jordans and went for a stroll down the block in the late 80's early 90's you might as well dig yo' own grave soN! I think back on those days and sometimes I just have to thank Jesus Christ that I am still on this planet. Also proud to say I've never cared to purchase a pair of Jordans but I did want an Oilers starter jacket.
I remember that. When I was in 9th grade, a Raiders Starter jacket would get you shot, if someone wanted it. Things were rough back then.
I love this country: http://www.chron.com/news/us/articl...artin-instead-of-Jesus-5100074.php?cmpid=hpts
As horrible as that whole affair was, it's nothing compared to other incidents out there. It's funny what gets chosen to capture the publics mind...
That's what I was thinking. Of all of the jacked up things going on in the world, this is news worthy?
We will miss you Uncle Phil. RIP http://www.tmz.com/2014/01/01/james...-of-bel-air-actor-will-smith-alfonso-ribiero/

I don't know if y'all recall the Japanese Lieutenant that hid out in the Philippine jungle for 29 years refusing to beleive the war was over and led a guerilla campaign against the local villagers and local police, killing and stealing for decades until he finally was tracked down by a Tokoy reporter who flew in his surviving commanding officer to convince the sum'bitch that World War II ended with Japan's surrender in September of 1945 and Lt. Onoda FINALLY handed over his sword on March 11, 1974. Well this mudder pucker died today! http://news.yahoo.com/photos/japan-...-jungle-until-1974-dies-1389959982-slideshow/
If we had a brigade of these samurai... The USA has had some worthy opponents over the last 100 years. The Germans, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Afghans are some of history's fiercest. Even the greatest warlord in history, Genghis Khan, got his ass handed to him by the mountain tribes in Afghanistan. The fiercest battle in US history was on the island of Okinawa against the Empire of Japan. It was like Armageddon. The Germans had the highly motivated Waffen SS divisions who were outfitted with very advanced weaponry. The Vietnamese were tough, tough opponents.
I always thought one of our fiercest foes was ourself. Of course that's usually the case in those situations...
The Bachelor is lucky that Chabala didn't hear these comments before the Ching testimonial - he'd probably have gotten scissored from behind: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/abcs-bachelor-juan-pablo-galavis-672100 So I guess Galavis is probably banned from BBVA Compass from now on?
How about that Wendy Davis? Gee, I never would have guessed she embellished her backstory at all! Even CNN reported on it!
