Really? I hadn't heard this. I just assume that if there's a fire at a fertilizer plant, bad things are going to happen.
They keep calling it a fertilizer plant but it was actually just a retail fertilizer company. They didn't make any fertilizer there, just stored anhydrous ammonia and ammonium nitrate for sale to farmers.
I couldn't imagine shutting down Houston... Last hurricane, I waited at home, didn't evacuate. Screw waiting in traffic. I need to get my CHL soon tho.

I read it earlier this morning on my coffee break, I am currently looking for it on the cnn.com website it was a small article.
I have been watching the Boston news on WPIX from NY which has had live coverage all day long. They are very good and actually have a reporter who accidentally got stranded in the "frozen zone" a couple of blocks from where they think he is. They have been reporting completely different information than CNN. They believe the second bomber is dead, on CNN they are still acting like he is still alive and surrounded. And don't you feel for the people in West? All the attention of the world is on Boston while their town has been leveled.
Yea it's funny there were two completely different story lines going on, I think WPIX should have tuned in to CNN just a bit to get a heads up. When CNN and twitter were announcing he was arrested, WPIX was still acting like he was dead....
I just want to say that I am absolutely floored it was a extremist Muslim involved in the bombing. I thought for sure after watching MSNBC that it was a bitter white accountant mad about tax day

You'll never guess what suburb of OKC that I was unlucky enough to get a hotel in this week. I'm stunned right now at the power of that twister. It missed my hotel by 7 blocks.

be careful man. my wife's friend lives in Moore. they headed to the basement but the house is gone. i just saw a picture of their minivan and it ended up in a tree. in a fkn tree! crazy.
