As if you know anything. Stick to drinking hi-c and following the Red Rhinos or whoever it is the hell you watch.

Grab the sunkist metros, the Los Angelas Universe or what's their face are playing. Afterwards get the pigskin and get a game of two hand touch going.

Good basketball from Russia so far but the pace is too fast, U.S. should be able to overtake them soon.

They went cold in the second half and stopped making their jump shots. Part of that was US defensive adjustments. The US seemed to calm down, and wait Russia out, leave with a difficult shot and then Russia couldn't make them. Meanwhile on offense the US just has some freak talent, Kevin Durant making some ridiculous shots, but also they calmed down a bit on offense too. The US team seems to come out early with too much energy, probably because they are so young. They want to win the game on the first shot of ever possession and take that shot immediately on offense. Once they calmed down, they seemed to get better oppurtunities.

Yea, once America stepped up their defense it was pretty much a done deal. Russia doesn't have the ball handlers or athleticism to get past defense like that.

Well a ten point loss is not a bad loss for Russia, but it's still a loss. They played well, but the talent disparity was just to big to overcome and Russia did not have the depth to keep up with such a high energy game.

Sometimes. Blatt is inconsistent. Sometimes he works magic, other times he woefully underperforms.

Yep, my bad I thought everyone knew that. It is funny listening to a British accent talk about basketball.

Lithuania will be real tough opponent for the US. I like my pick for them as a darkhorse for the title.

Russia did present a lot of challenge to US on the inside. And had US been experiencing a bad night shooting, Russia might pull it out. But the UD did well shooting from the outside and Russia did not do a good job challenging the outside shot.

I am kinda glad Russia kept trying. Slovenia and Croatia gave up as soon as US lead hit 10.

To be fair, Slovenia and Croatia were making strategic decisions about their games. Those were preliminary games and they were saving themselves for other more vital games.

    My favorite,

"you used to be able to do that in basketball, but not anymore."

I know it was wrong but I just felt, how would you know, you're British.

It would be kind of like an American talking about Cricket. "You used to be able to do that in Cricket, but not anymore."

Jasekevicius couldn't bring the ball up past the half court line with the Pacers, it was unbelievable lol like really bad man! He had to pass the ball up, he rarely could bring it all the way up the floor most of the time lol

That Kostov guy I think his name is was the only natural player Russia has. If the U.S. came 100% for all 4 quarters no way could these soft euros get pas them.

But I liked Russia's passing game, well coached team. They just couldn't beat their man one on one.
