They lost to Kentucky by 20 two weeks ago and Kentucky beat them in the SEC title game. UConn and Purdue way more deserving a #2 seed. Yea pretty sure they were defending Champs, was going to say that but didn't want to get my facts wrong lol I have ND in the Nat'l Title game lol!!!! they are really good, Scott Martin is a biatch I hope Purdue beats them and makes him cry. He was in Purdue's recruiting class with Hummel, Johnson and Moore and transferred after a solid freshman year
Drake did you know games are shown on tbs, tnt and trutv this year? all games being aired now, huge (not that you care with your Vegas megavision ). The NBA analysts Barkley, Kenny Smith are on call and Reggie calling games, they even got Steve Kerr joining Clark Kellogg and Jim Nance for the Title Game...epic
No didnt know that. that is awesome. used to have to watch other games online on march madness, but computer sucks
You almost asked for it congrats on the win, big blow for me I had Mich St in the Elite8. My Southeast region is a landmine lol, only thing that will save me is if Wisconsin make the Final4 Rematch of the 2006 Chip, I think you guys got a good shot at getting them back
OMG, what a finish! What the hell were those guys doing fouling at the end of the game! Gotta feel bad for the Pitt kid. Good finish to K-State/Wisconsin too, Pullen's 38 wasn't enough.
Mack made an honest mistake to try to steal the ball but a big mistake nonetheless, the 2nd foul was absolutely against every common sense decision making strategy in the book lol dumbass one of the Pitt assistants was irate Yea every game in Tuscon seemed to be a thriller. I have Wisconsin in the Final4 but screw my bracket, I want Butler back in it baby!!!
There's a Ukrainian big body on Arizona, soph Kyryl Natyazhko, he seems pretty good actually! He was an ESPN top100 recruit, somehow came from Ukraine to Brandenton...I thought only hot chick tennis players got to do that
Haha I saw that game, he played a lot and did well! Big win for Arizona too, that was an exciting finish with and and-1. Marquette beat Syracuse too with Gus Johnson on the call, that's always fun! San Diego State looked really suspect vs Temple, just barely slipping past the Owls in Double OT. Crazy stuff, I love March Madness though.
Really disappointing to see my Boilers get raped by VCU tonight. VCU is a complete team, I had them beating G'town but didn't expect this. Looked like an outmatched intermural team getting destroyed by the soon to be intermural champs lol...sad way to see two great Boilers go out, and with their buddy Hummel crying on the bench in street clothes not able to do a thing about it
What happened to Purdue I didnt see the game? March Madness ********s with you when your team is still in it. Im nervous 24/7 about OSU losing.
VCU is really good as is, and played a flawless game tonight. Their wings are athletic and gave Purdue terrible matchup problems, especially with Barlow getting kicked off the team right before the tourney. They raised the tempo of the game and cut open Purdue's defense at will and shot really well from all over the floor. Purdue had a bad day, the Boilers compensate when E'twaun and Jajuan are at their best and can beat Ohio St when their at their best, whenever one of them struggles like E'twaun did tonight they lose like they did in pretty much all 8 of their losses this year. This effort tonight was really uncharacteristic of Purdue that prides itself on defense and toughness. This was a tough one to swallow they just got handled, very sad to see 2 great seniors go out like this. Always will wonder what could've been with Hummel
11 Big East schools make the tournament, but only 2--Connecticut and Marquette--will be in the Sweet 16. What should we make of that, guys?
As of right now only this season but who knows. Dumbass might transfer, Purdue never reveals much info on these things. Big time media and east coast bias. Also the fact that elimination games are way different then regular season action. Big10 only 2 of 7 as well, a little disappointing though Michigan gave Duke everything they could handle. That team was impressive their last 10+ games, especially given how bad they were early in Big10 play, wow!
Florida made the plays when it counted. Too bad. Would be nice to get revenge, get a big upset, and move on. UCLA is a final four team if everyone returns, which I doubt iwll happen probably 3-4 guys gone or so.
Uh, no. Purdue needed Moore's best all time game just to nip Ohio State at home (which in the Big Ten carries a big advantage). At their best Ohio State is considerably better than Purdue - or any other Big Ten team this year. Which is why OSU's two close losses on the road to Purdue and Wisconsin took Moore's and Taylor's best career games (in Taylor's case to that point), but Ohio State absolutely WAXED them at home. Of course, now that I've said that, OSU will probably lose to Kentucky. But that's the nature of a knockout competition - subject to the vagaries of fortune. Although, that being said, this Ohio State reminds me a lot of the Florida team that beat OSU for the title - a good active big man and athletic wings that can shoot the 3 with scary ability. P.S. Reggie Miller first ballot hall of famer - WINNING! Not much. Georgetown's point guard fractured his hand 3 weeks before the tournament and a similar thing happened to Pitt's top scorer. Several of them also lost buzzer beaters and two Big East teams eliminated each other. There could easily be 6 of them in the Sweet Sixteen, but that's the nature of elimination games. It's also hard to argue against the Big East, considering they were really, really good in non-conference play this year. What else are you going to judge by? People claim that there's "east coast media bias" in favor of the ACC and Duke/UNC, but they only got 4 teams in (and are doing quite well, actually). But who else should those spots have gone to? The Big Ten hasn't exactly acquitted itself well with Wisconsin barely squeezing out an ugly win while Purdue got absolutely waxed and ruined my bracket along with Kansas State.
Richmond, VA owns the basketball universe. Richmond and VCU both in the Sweet16. Could've scrimmaged each other this week but they might still face each other in the Elite8 so their potential arch enemies!
SLAM magazine just voted him the #54 best NBA player in their top500 list of all time lol...if anything this brought to light how retarded the HOF is, which I didn't know before they left him off the final ballot altogether. P.S. Jajuan Johnson Big10 Player of the Year #WINNING
