Review: (NSR) 2012 Mods Review

Most boards haven't had to deal with one of the most poorly run franchises in American sports for 17 seasons.

Mods, this is exactly the kind of behavior that discourages people from posting. Wolfp10 is a thoughtful guy who makes interesting posts. I like to hear what he has to say, and I'll bet other posters-who-have left did also. If KO doesn't like Wolfp10's posts, he could ignore them (that's what a lot of us do with KO's posts). As moderators, you could tell him to knock it off and to stick to making posts that add information or give opinions about tactics, etc. You could tell him to quit attacking other people. But you let him and a handful of others run around picking fights and lobbing purely gratuitous insults -- which is why I gave you guys a low score on the survey -- and its also why there are not many people left posting here anymore. FWIW, KO-ish behavior is not tolerated on some of the other BS forums.

I have to say, I never really thought about how much of your time it must take to read all the threads. Must be a time-consuming job -- thanks for doing it.

 

That's funny, because if you don't like other peoples posts, or if Wolfp doesn't like the tone of the board...then you guys don't have to read or respond to them either. The hypocrisy is laughable.

Also, in defense of the mods, I receive PM's from them almost anytime I take a shot at someone. So, while it may not satisfy your ego to see them scold me in the forum itself, just know that the mods are actually taking care of most "problems" on this board.

 

Fair enough, but I think it is fairly relevant. You mods have been criticized for not being more judicial. I'm just trying to point out the hypocrisy of the claims against you guys, because people want to have things both ways, and jump all over the mods when one group (or individual) does something that they themselves do. I personally think you guys do a good job, and keep the conversation going, and on topic when necessary. And as I said above, I've received plenty of PM's from you guys when I've stepped over the line.
