Even if his intentions were good he failed, badly. In the Pena note it says the murder rate went from 10 to 23 per 100,000 that's huge...he's opened a box that can't be closed. Who knows if it will ever stop. I feel for any of the innocent people who have been killed.

There haven´t been that many innocent people that have been killed. Most of the people are killed are involved in the drug trade. Failed, really? In what way? Yes because the way Calderon did it really helped instead of basically giving control to the narcos. With the PRI or Vicente Fox, the country had it's problems but it never looked like it does now. Calderon ********ed up. He engaged the cartels even though there was corruption in every branch of the gov. Shit was ********ed at every level and Calderon made it worst by going on a full scale scale war with the cartels. The monkey is out of the bottle.
