I think Vazquez Mota was the worst of the 4, pena nieto really got her a few times badly. Quadri...lets not forget his connections with elba esther  of the 3 with an actual chance of winning...AMLO was the most unscathed..[IMG]

The finances of our Mexico has been stable un the PAN, inflation is down middle class is growing in the cities. The two areas that have been hit are agricultural and the mining (lots of foreign miners in Mexico).

The PRD wants to rescue the agricultural sector. If mexican farmers be helped in regards to price of grain, that would create a lot of employment in the agricultural sector.

What worries me about the PRI? Don't want to go back to the days where they pillage the funds.

Regarding privatizion of mexican oil? No! Because that would cause gas prices to go up in Mexico if those private greedy coporate oil companies get access to oil. They want to make a profit and gas prices would go up. As for example, the USA has private companies like Shell, BP, Exxon, Chevron that has high gas prices.

In Mexico, the advantage of oil under the government is the gas prices are regulated so they don't go up that much.

Actually prices are subsidized, and it cost Mexico lots of money to do that, Dude that is not going to win wants to get rid of the subsidy and invest that money on other programs (allegedly).

    http://www.mexicomike.com/database/runner/public/mx_fuel_prices_list.php

    10.09 pesos per liter (3.79 L to G) = 38.24 pesos per gallon.

    38.24 pesos = 2.86 USD

    http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert/?Amount=38.24&From=MXN&To=USD

3.79 USD average in the USA.

    http://www.eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/

So prices are a dollar cheaper in Mexico, I am not sure how much of that is due to the subsidies.

That debate was one of the worst I've seen and I was pumped up with beer and crap as I'm a political junky. I blame the format more for not letting fluidity and let a dialogue or conversation to occur between one and other. Regardless it was a debate that should had happen freaking four months ago as it seems the candidate were trying to introduce themselves and some nervous (aka Josefina). Bottomline beer and seeing two grueling hours of that just made me pack up my day and go to bed without thinking or pondering anything new.

As for the Argie nude model, not hating (chick is actually hot though typical argie full of herself with her comments afterwards) but that shit was unecessary in this types of events.

I'm speculating of course but, I think that is a warning shot to the US Gov't that there is a big bankroll behind this guy and they need to get to know him better. Its possible he is financed by the Narcos and foreign interests looking to invest in Mexico.

He's atypical from past Mexican presidents that all did undergrad or graduate school in the U.S. as the article mentions Harvard and Yale being very prominent in the past presidents. And there has always been the suspicion by some that every Mexican president was compromised by the CIA when they came north to study.

But they needed more than just force, they needed a police force to follow the money, the problem is that when they follow the money they would catch more than just Narcos, I am sure many senators, Governors, etc. Do not want the Federal police looking too much on where all the money goes.
