I would take these changes with a grain of salt. It's mostly a result of Chaton being injured.

He said he will not be making any major changes these next 4 games. He also admitted he wouldn't be able to play the way he likes(backline of 3) with the current players he has available.

It makes sense. Neither Pato or Pereira have "salida".

The only thing that concerns me is he's been practicing without Gio Hdz. He's been our best player these past 2 games.

Who's playing on the right wing? Bravo or Fierro

He's practicing with a 4-4-1-1 (Bravo is FINALLY playing up too with De Nigris) but when the team is attacking, Pato drops in between Pereira and Vidrio making it a 3-5-2. By the end of the practice he changed to a 5-3-2 and used Ramirez in his starting lineup while he rested Bravo (caution)

LaVolpe was frequently stopping the practice to give instructions to all of his lines. This was over and over again pause after pause. This. Is. Good. This is what we needed! I have never had a coach that just let us work. Hell no.

This is the biggest problem with directivos in Mexico, they think that coaches matter way more than they actually do. This is why Chivas will continue to go through coaches without solving their main problem, lack of talent. Vergara signs Bravo, DeNigris and Castro and is then suprised the team still sucks. Hmmm, it has to be the coach.

So those two forwards from the pre Olympics Pulido and Fabian,
That we could both have had on our team , are now tonight's starters for the National team.

WOW. Real's practices were usually an hour and a half long. So far, LaVolpe's practices have been 3 hours (yesterday) and 3 hours and a half (today.) LaVolpe making the team sweat for the first time in a long, long time. Looks like fútbol has returned to Verde Valle!

Read on twitter that Lavolpe really likes that Ramirez kid. He put him in the starting lineup today during practice.

I do envy dat mustache... not really.

I don't know what to think about Lavolpe. At this point and this late in the stage, I'm just rolling with the punches.

What did I tell you guys? La Volpe has his new guardado in ramirez. My prediction was that he would start in the next two games(being conservative cause La Volpe only had a short week) but I've been calling for this kid to be starting since I saw him play; and knew La Volpe was going to fall in love with him.

Not even my high school practices are an hour and a half long. 2 hours are the minimum. No wonder we were sucking balls.

    So here is the lowdown.

I reiterate what I've been saying for the majority of the season: dat tepa solis for Ramirez kid will make a world of difference. Now, the denigris/bravo thing up top is a step in the right direction, but lets see how long denigris stays in the lineup if he does not produce, because La Volpe will not hesitate to bench him.

Lavolpe was probably expensive....He will get a full season.

one thing is for sure....we will attack more....which is a good thing.

But like most of Lavolpe's teams....we will suffer with the counter and set pieces.
