I remember watching Julio Nava come in as a sub once and playing. I was pretty impressed with him, have yet to see him again but era bueno para encarar(sp?).
yeah, i remember Chepo used him a lot back when he was still coach. he debuted real young too at only 16 years of age on the Sub-20 list they have him listed as a forward, but the games i've seen him play with Chivas he was playing as a left wing; Ramoncito's usual spot. so i dunno if within the last year or so he got moved to being a forward while playing in Tapatio
Talking about Ramoncito's spot, where's his thread? Didn't he just celebrated his 10th year @ Chivas. He's a true icon for us! I shall make a thread...
After he said they offered him peanuts. The economy is so bad that Claudio Suares can't afford to retire. If he can't do it, what hope do I have?
I don't agree with this at all. who can they possibly bring that knows these guys better than Flores? I really wanted Chivas to go full force for the copa Libertadores, but this isn't good news for the team. hehehe, hard times indeed.
Just seen on super estadio that the next coach will be a euro. Koehman said no again, but fuentes has asked koehman to refer her to some coaches. Vergara wants a euro.
I applaud Vergara for thinking big, but I honestly don't think Vergara has the patience to deal with a euro. It would take time for the guy to get settled in. Vergara might fire him before that. F*ck it...Go for Rijkaard!
the thing is though, that whatever coach they bring in he will be coming alone because he will be working with both assistant coaches that are already there (Omar Arellano & Juan Carlos Ortega) i think it will be a win-win situation for both parties. Arellano and Ortega already know the players and can help the new coach get aquainted with them, and both Arellano and Ortega will be learning from the new coach as well. i think it's a smart move by Vergara im having the new coach work with the crew that's already there
