I really dont know what the ******** goes through their minds when they choose some of the players. They should go after solid starters on their teams. Cardenas was subbed in at Santos. Is that supposed to be Reynas replacement?

he'll see some minutes. maybe start a game or two and even score a goal now and then. ultimately he'll turn into another jagger or negro sandoval.

if they get a 20/21 year old guy from mls. thats pretty much a slap in the face to our sub-20 who have been champions in their division several times.

He's 23 and imo neither Pimentel nor Treviño filled my eye this past season. Plus Pato is injured and you're not telling me that you'd rather have Topo in the lineup instead of Gonzalez?

Not to mention that one of the Cervantes guys was captain last year or the one before that when they were also champs.

He wouldnt take up a foreigner spot right? If he doesnt then no harm in trying him out.

Im not watching the America game but peeked at the play by play and Bermudez, Rolfi and Benitez seem very active.

Yea, he won't take foreign spot so that's good.

Bermudez was great in the first half and Rolfi was,, yes I'm being serious, he was actually running sometimes. second half was pretty boring with the usual fact that Sanchez and Vuoso are shit.

The selection of players does appear strange on this team....it is clear to many of us that the back line needs at least two quality defenders to back up Mosquera.

We needed a central midfielder that can hold the ball...we got Bermudez

We need an old fashioned striker to pull the defenders off Benitez

    We need a quality GK

We need a veteran that can keep the likes of Vuso and Reyna in check.

    This is not impossible!

Another thing, America has set the standard for many things in MEX, why cant they do that again...I wish they operated like the top EPL clubs when it comes to bringing in foreign players...the rule should be:

If America are going to buy a foreign player....the player must be playing or had to of played for the countries national team at the under 21 or senior level..otherwise he should not be purchased. That should be a standard to follow.

That dude vizcarrondo from the little I have seen from him seems like one of those players that look better than he really is, I hope I'm wrong tho. Adios vicente sanchez, take vuoso with you please.

Its December and you guys got some good news to appreciate with Hobbit and Amione, and who know but the changes in defense may help. Chema Cardenas seems like a positive addition too. I would like to see a competitive superclassico again, I hope America does start passing the torch to some of the younger generation. There might be some good surprises on the national or international scene coming out of this team hopefully soon.

yeah i figure its the same shit they were doing to sanchez......

Im sure it bothers someone in the locker room tho when a dude that basically shows up 1 out 10 games and walks around gets the captains armband.

You guys were going to I heard, i wonder why that's not happening, might be a good thing for him if the youth continue to lack playing time.

oh ok, no we're not getting him. i honestly think we aren't getting more offensive players, the problem has always been the defense and im glad they got viscarrondo sopposely.
