El "Ruso" only played two seasons with the team, but I would add Cristobal Ortega to that list.

lol Mario wants to make Puebla a MLS all stars team.

"Greatest America team of all time" not 2005. They're great players but just wouldn't cut into the "Club Legends" category.

    America needs PAVEL PARDO!

Needs a creative midfield not assholes that lose balls, that try to do all by themselves..

Chingen a su madre con la defensa...

Fack that shyte. I'm tired of taking players from San Luis and Necaxa.
What we need is a good creative midfielder...better than Coudet (D'Alessandro?) and some defense. We're good with our forwards (Cabanas...and probably Beausejour)

Okay check this shit. Esqueda has so far 4 goals in 8 appearances. That's a 50% success rate. Compared to our other strikers, that's excellent. He's only two goals under Cabanas, who has 6, and our other strikers Alfredo Moreno and Rafel Marquez Lugo, who has really surprised me this tourney, have 2 each. Esqueda has become more and more consistent and guess what, he's only 20. Cuauhtemoc was 22 when he really started getting goals in. Think about that a second.

Enrique Esqueda? Our next Cuauh? No. Never. But, our next great goalscorer? You better believe it. I hope Ramon Diaz does too.

That's an overstatement man. He's good but he's not gonna be that great. He misses a lot of easy ones (tap ins) and is pretty bad at controlling a ball that comes down fast. (unlike el "Gordinho" Cabanas:D) Our next goalscorer will be Beausejour...aside from Cabanas.

We do need a good midfielder to play along side Arguello, but also we need at least one center back and two full backs.

And I agree with what azulcrema said about Quique Esqueda and he is tall unlike most of the midgets that play in the league.

You can't expect excellence from him now. We can't keep relying on just what our money can bring next. I mean look at Memo. If Esqueda works on his finishing and ball control, he will be, I believe, even better than Cuauh.

Also I believe if More Mosqueda had kept his level up he could have been NT material by now. Fuck Arguello. Fuck Insua. More was the man. I mean, remember his debut. Think back to Game 2 of Apertura 2006. 40th minute, trailing Tigres 0-1. Moequeda recieves a pass from Alvin Mendoza just outside the penalty box, controls it, and strokes the ball into Edgar Hernandez's far right corner. It was absolutely unstopable and one of the best goals of recent memory.

Him, Esqueda, Silva. All canteranos, all have shown they are talented yet lack something. Silva lacks composure. Esqueda lacks both composure and control. I don't know what happened with More. He had the balls, the composure, and especially the control. He was just a little slow, but other than that, great. I dunno what happened. Oh well.
