Re: Lesser known japanese Abroad He has mixed parentage but he can no longer play for Japan as at the age of 21 he had to choose between England, Japan & Canada under FIFA guideline & he choose Canada
Tabata I was wondering about this, too. Has anyone heard if Japan has tried to get him to play for them? It seems like there would be a good chance with a Brazilian like Zico in charge of the national team.
Re: Lesser known japanese Abroad He joined Santos now He's supposed to be an excellent player, If Zico ever contomplated him in Japan i'm sure he would have done it by now
Re: Tabata I believe he was born and raised in brazil, so he was unlikely to play like Japanese players
http://shizuoka.nikkansports.com/news/p-sn-tp1-20060327-12058.html
Re: Lesser known japanese Abroad I think the Japanese that you mention here is Dan ITO. He used to be the playmaker of Kitchee, a Hong Kong First Division team, yet he left the team after one and a half season in 2005, and now playing in Brunei.
Re: Lesser known japanese Abroad Guys, I noticed Crystal Palace youth team has one Japanese called Taku Watanabe.
Re: Lesser known japanese Abroad Cool, thanks for that. Can't find much if any info on him. Except that he was on the bench for Palace's reserves against Arsenal
Re: Lesser known japanese Abroad Homma, who plays for Hungarian division 1 team Lombard Papa has scored 2 goals this season. http://www.goalzz.com/main.aspx?region=-6&team=3441
Re: Lesser known japanese Abroad Anyone knows about Kenji Nakano? He was playing for Feyenoord Reserve team. His mother is Dutch, but he wanted to play for Japan NT some day. How is he doing?
Re: Lesser known japanese Abroad Of heritage, somewhat Hawaiian born Duke HASHIMOTO, Columbus Crew And this pic is classic. Who said Japanese and Africans can't interact well?
Re: Lesser known japanese Abroad Ryo Tozuka.....wow it's must be pretty scary to be playing in a African League. I don't want to be racist, but seriously anyone who look at this picture would say the same thing. :S
Re: Lesser known japanese Abroad If you find yourself saying that, your best response would be to stop posting. Glad to see this thread is still alive. And I still see that Kyle Nakazawa is still in MLS, plodding for Philadelphia Union. It's funny, because I posted about him in 2006 earlier in this thread, but he's only 23 now.
