You must be used to Andy's selective viewing of United matches by now ;)

West Ham fail to do us a favour after being up 1-0 against Arsenal- although they did lose Ramsey

the thugs at Stoke ended their run of form with a 5-1 loss to Newcastle while playing with 9 men

great result for Palace with a late winner over Villa which pulls them out of the relegation places

Sunderland pick up an impressive win vs Everton with Timmah being sent off

and a much needed win for Fulham against Norwich

Impressed with Arsenal. A year or two ago, no way they come back against WHam.

    agreed

I think the additions of some of the more experienced players like Mertesacker are finally paying off. I believe Wenger finally had to bend in his approach of being a developmental side and actually sign some players with some years under their belts.

tell you what, i like our squad, it's one of the best in the league, but we are not the best TEAM. liverpool really are playing some good stuff. and man city's squad is fierce. what a game being played right now.

liverpool would really be lost without suarez, but he makes the other players better around him too. make some of these average to above average players look really good.

what an odd hit by Negredo though. i mean really strange to try something like that with your non-dominant foot. keeper gets a hand so there is no real excuse but i'm sure he wasn't expecting the spin to take it back towards the center of the goal as he was moving far post.

    agreed

seemed to be a case of creative thinking

most striker would have shot across the face of goal and Negredo seems to try to bend the ball in the near corner with the outside of his foot and did not catch it correctly and thus why it went almost straight at Mingolet

I think Mingolet had his body weight shifting to the far post and was moving that way based on the angle of the shot and the foot being used by Negredo. He seemed to palm it back behind him instead of away.

It must seem like that when you hear someone with a balanced view instead of the one-eyed version the 'meeja' normally puts out ;) :D

Sakho's not really the guy you'd want to rely on in your back four, is he.

    Suarez is such a c*nt

That was probably a foul on him from Lescott, and he might have even been awarded a penalty had he not overreacted and threw himself in the air like that.

^ agreed, but pulling his shirt is exactly what you DON'T do against suarez. he WILL make the ref make a decision. stupid by lescott.

Yeah, he's left-footed. Actually uses the outside of his left quite regularly and to good effect.

What I thought was strange was that even with the shirt pulling it looked like he could have got decent contact on the ball. Instead it just bounced harmlessly off him.
