I think that´s great that they are trying to get back on track with new players and coaches. I know they are a bit of a rival to your Vålerenga, but Lsk is definately a club with a decent history in the highest league. It´s not a big city like Oslo but their fans are known for being very lively. They seem to think that the Hammabry fans are snatching some of their special Lsk chants? Or was it the other way around :)? Anyway I hope it goes well for Haglund. Basically a very competent coach tactically. If he could become better at the communication part with the players he could do really well. He won a Gold with Elfsborg. They were frankly a bit unfortunate a couple of seasons where they easily could have won also those times.

Thanks Vifvaf for the info! I´ll Enjoy following coming events from the Norwegian Tippeligaen.:)

Yes i agree that this is a needed step for LSK. I have no problem talking positive about LSK. Half the people at work is LSK . And they have a proud history. In my eyes LSK need a couple of new people in the leadership of the club. Mathisen and co have taken many wrong turns the last 5-6 years. So i think LSK need som new blood inside.

Yes Fugla get to hear it from us Vålerenga people to. Im sure 90% of their songs are from Hammarby :p But it is as you say, Lillestrøm is a small place with great support. Their season card sale is said to be better this year to . So all the new players and coaches seems to attrack the people back.
Lets just see how long it holds

Truls Håkonsen resigsn from his position as a sports director in Vålerenga.
Truls is still being investigated by the police in the Gunnarson case.
He will continue to work with Vålerenga with buy and sale of players.

Martin Andresen will fill his place in the first time at least.

Tromsø and Sogndal is also being investigated by Skatt øst.
Both clubs used the same agent as in the Piroija case.

Yes, they seem to be able to find half the money by axing some ppl from their administration, but the last 15 million NOK (just around $2.5 million) they will have to cut in their player budget and youth department.. so this is going to be tough for Rosenborg...

It btw seems that AGF Aarhus are giving them a helping hand by signing the striker Morten Moldskred ...

He never became a success at Rosenborg, playing as a winger in a 4-3-3 lineup for the club, but now he get to play his favorite position as the withdrawn/supporting striker in a 4-4-2 lineup for AGF the next year or so... so it seems to be a good deal for both Rosenborg, Moldskred and AGF, since AGF are getting exactly the kind of supporting striker they were looking for, while Rosenborg are able to save $300k on their wage budget on a player they cant really use in a 4-3-3 system.

Yes i know. Off course they will manage. They always do. It is just funny to be able to kick Rbk`s in the leg for once. After 15 of total dominatin in Norway , they have to look at the price tag and are closing in on the rest of the teams. Same feeling i guess the rest of Denmark have against Køben.
    A good taste ;)

Some action on the transfere marked the last days.
Mos from Vålerenga signed a 4,5 year contract with FCK on friday.
The rumer has it that Vif got 9 mill NOK for Mos.

And Rosenborg makes a strange move in my eyes. Sell Henriksen and Bakenga to Club Brugge.

    http://www.vg.no/sport/fotball/artikkel.php?artid=10076979

    But then

    http://www.tv2.no/sport/fotball/tippeligaen/rbkhenriksen-sa-nei-til-club-brugge-3694893.html

This is something i have missed in Norway. Every youngster crave to conquer Europe. And it warms my heart to see and hear this. This will probably give him a enourmus status in the city of Trondheim. Well done Henriksen.

Vålerenga want to double the amount of standing areas in Tippeligaen from 20 to 40 % of stadium capasity.
The association is considering the suggestion now.
A rigid set of rules that are frowned upon, not only in this country, but among supporters on the whole continent and especially in England. Now Vålerenga go in the throat of the regulations, and want a change.

Vålerenga fans is cheering over the proposal, and wish it could have gone even further.

    - We have wanted this for many years and would love to have people standing in the entire stadium. If this comes through, we estimate it will do, so we want to create a precedent that hopefully will bring back standing in Europe, said spokesman Christian clan Kjellsen.

We contacted the Norwegian Football Association, who said that this had to be anchored in Norway Toppfotball, where all Adecco and Premier League clubs sit. At the previous meeting, we received pursuant to that this is something that all clubs will go for. So we're just waiting on the association., said Skar Home.

A good and a bad day at the same time. First the bad. (for me tough :p )
Stefan Standberg chose to sign for Rosenborg today. Price unknown yet.
    http://www.rbk.no/incoming/article224076.ece
Second bad news is that Odd Skarheim said a couple of days ago that he will not run for club president in the summer. Per Omdal( Former President in the association) turned down the offer as a replacment.
In addition to the new club chairman, alerts now also head of the athletic committee, Bjorn Viljugrein, that he is resigning.

    http://www.tv2.no/sport/fotball/tippeligaen/omdal-sa-nei-til-vaalerenga-3707764.html
Lost 5-0 to FCK on Saturday
    http://www.vif-fotball.no/article3333119.ece
So now we are closing a club with no administration and no players. Not very optimistic about 2012 season for the moment.

Now for the positive. NFF Board decided yesterday that in the future is fine, with up to 40% standing areas in Norwegian football stadiums. A victory for Vålerenga and Odd Rating Heim, says Christian Kjellsen, spokesman of the Klanen - now expect that Yngve Hall takes the iniative out on the the international arena.

Norwegian Top Football wants artist taxes in Norway as they have done in Sweden to avoid the player escape from norway.
    http://www.dagbladet.no/2012/02/14/sport/fotball/tippeligaen/sv/lars_egeland/20230687/

Functioning fiscal spokesperson in SV, Lars Egeland sees no reason to introduce the artist taxes in Norway.

    - Norwegian football will not get a higher quality by subsidizing the football players who earn more than 88 000 NOK a month, says Egeland.
