I'm with Mr. Alexander. This is incredibly stupid. It obviously has zero purpose or meaning aside from a bunch of 4chan dorks acting like it does and following it blindly lik lemmings. If any of you get near me in the section with one of these moronic signs and are over the age of 18 I'm going to snatch it from you, slap you with it, and rip it.
First, seriously, life is too short bud! Get a beer and relax! Second, many originally "stupid, meaningless" ideas are now commonly accepted as sports traditions. Rally Caps in baseball, the Pittsburgh Steelers original "Terrible Towel," the Detroit Red Wings Octopus, even the phrase "Hat Trick." Stupid ideas can become specific to a team and then they have meaning. Personally, when I originally saw the sign I was like WTF? But Dynamo score a lot of goals on set piece headers. Noodle Time as an expression of "We need a header" or "We just scored on a header" is funny and unique. I like it specifically becuse it is random and started by a guy with a goofy idea, not by some club PR hack who was trying to force spontaneity through things like shouting the players names during line up introductions.
