Yeah, that didn't surprise me. I would have hoped that some of us would have at least heard a rumor if there were going to be one. What did surprise me is the short remaining list of Texas teams. Permit me to copy the comment I posted on IMS' story on the schedule: No DFW? No Houston? Are PDL teams there finding it harder to compete with MLS' growth, and with the return of MLS' development league? Or are they just victims of the usual failure rate? I'm also half surprised one of the San Antonio franchises didn't try to get PDL rolling this season.
My understanding is the RGV Bravos moved to SPSL and changed their name. I thought the Houston Leones were doing the same, but no mention on the SPSL web site right now. No idea on DFW Tornados. I guess they folded.
