Anyone else following this story about the Sky/EPL rights and their distribution? If I remember the specifics of the story right, a bar owner in the UK bought a satellite dish and a scrambler card for her TV, then started showing the live Greek channels that were carrying the EPL matches. Obviously this route is much much cheaper than using Sky's package for bars/hotels/etc. Anyway, there's a court battle that's now going to the European Court of Justice to determine the legality of this situation.

I'm not as wired into these things as Jitty and cr7, but could this not put a dent in the value of the Sky deals and TV money?

 

I think I'm starting to fall in love with Bayern's upper management; namely Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
