Difference between the original vapor 8s and the modified more leather like ones? preferences? reason for change? Differences?
So after 'ruining' my ctr's they have gone from this.. to this... pretty much one base coat and a few touch ups, easier to do then i thought it would take. The lighting in my dinning room is terrible so they look pretty shiny but they are infact wouldnt say a full matte just a nice natural looking black
I think it will, there isn't too much dye on the boot seen as the retro was stripped back loads, and the forefoot and sole are both black. The kanga lite has absorbed the dye nicely though.
Got an email from Nike regarding the GS Hi Craig, Good morning! Nice to hear that you wish to purchase the amazing Nike GS boots, it's very popular indeed, very nice choice! It's my pleasure to help you find out when it will be released. After researching the matter I have found that the Nike GS boots dispatch date has been delayed as we have received a big amount of orders coming in as pre-order. We don't have an exact date yet but you can be informed on Facebook or Twitter where the date will be released as soon as it's set. Should you need any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact us back, Kind Regards, Dora Nikestore.com Consumer Service Sounds a bit weird to me. Almost as if they are bring the GS out again but not the prototypes
Hi guys... wore my Nike CTR360 Masteri IIIs out for the first time today, and it seems that the soleplate is already beginning to split from the upper. Does anyone think this is going to be an issue down the road and if i will be able to get this warrantied later? P.S. It's tearing on the other boot as well, between the stitches Edit: I used the shoes on grass, if anyone is wondering
Yea in general, it sounded like a lot of people aren't getting theirs in so I didn't know how big of an issue it was.
will trying to fix a separation between the upper and soleplate using tacky glue void the nike warranty?
I don't think so. It wouldn't make sense. If you do glue it use Freesole. It's the best glue for reattaching soleplates.
it's really small but they are separating lol i guess i'm just paranoid because it's the first wear and already some of the soleplate is not completely flush with the upper
Anyone here have the CTR Trequartista III? I'm considering blacking out a pair, if anyone has them and could give me some information I would really appreciate it. Or does anyone know if the Maestri will be up for Nikeid?
to be honest, boots are made from soft materials which will always stretch and move due to stress. I'd say just leave it and keep playing in them - and they should hold up, if they don't you can get them replaced. But at this point its nothing to worry about
To be fair, mine are absolutely fine. The top of the soleplate near the toes is splitting on my right foot but thats because I got stood on during a game recently. They'll be absolutely fine, mine are proving to be supremely durable so far. EDIT: And by supremely durable I mean.. Compared to recent attempts by boot companies.
Slightly off-topic, but does anyone know/use reusable sock tape?? I dont like the idea of wasting tape after every game. I just need it to connect my Trusox to my team sock(with the feet cut out). Any suggestions? Dont want to spend alot on this really!
