How do you guys rate him? I've been slowly following Botafogo this year. Since SPFC and River Plate of Argentina the 2 South American clubs I follow didn't make the Libertadores I'm rooting for Botafogo since Uruguayan Lodeiro plays there.
I have always rated him high even though he has been overlooked for the past 2 years imo. He is pretty much Botafogo's only quality player left in attack. they have Doria at cb who all of Europe Wants and Jefferson at gk but after that the team doesn't have a lot. My only complaint about lodeiro is sometimes he isn't aggressive enough maybe this has something to do with inconsistency idk. When Uruguay played Spain in a friendly he was the best player on the pitch that day but I have also seen him disappear for Uruguay or not get selected.
