Evidently he's an American-born '97 with a club called Torcy:

Nico Bildgen, a talented striker in France, is the latest addition to the list. Agents in France have been buzzing about the star from Torcy who is enjoying a great season with his club.

    ...

Some of the prominent clubs in France have taken notice of his year including Saint Etienne, a Ligue 1 side that finished fifth last year.

"Torcy" seems to be a local club, full name "US Torcy." (With a name like that, I guess we don't need to give it a "Torcymerica" nickname...)

They have the makings of a pretty comprehensive web site but a lot of it doesn't appear to be filled out.

The tone of the TDS article is pretty breathless, what with the line about agents buzzing and a few other bits. One would hope that's because Eskilson has a good indication that Bildgen is a good prospect. Here's hoping.

Always nice to hear from you, @Shannbo5150. Hope you and your family are well.

To further clarify the record, I believe they share the same mother?

    Happy holidays.

Thank you Dave, hope you and yours are well too. Lovely to see you still persevere with your meticulous efforts on YA. Max and Nico do have the same mother and Nico, like Max was born in Los Angeles.

Many thanks. As you might imagine, it's a little easier now that we aren't following Max's ever-changing whereabouts! He was a fun guy to chase around.

I was just randomly looking at Paul Pogba's wiki page and noticed that he started out at a club called US Torcy. I thought it sounded familiar and it turns out I was right! If this guy is even half the player Pogba is then he'll enjoy a nice long career.

Nico seems to have scored for a club called Le Mee this October. I'm not entirely clear what level they are at, but it seems to be a regional amateur competition that sits right beneath the level where you might regularly play professional reserve teams -- so, maybe this is like "nonleague" in England. (I'd welcome a correction, of course.)

I assume that Nico is the guy with the ball here:

Various sites have him at or recently at a French club called FC Valdahon Vercel. I mention this mainly as an excuse to say "What's up, @Shannbo5150?" Been a long time.
