Well, with the new draft salary cap he wont be too expensive, as far as money is concerned. Nowadays if you dont have an elite QB you wont be winning a superbowl. Thank god that dude is going to the NFC. Three number 1's plus additional picks that is. I would pay that in a heartbeart no problem to get my franchise QB.

Wow...Redskins will Redskin. It's basically 2 first round picks and a 2nd round pick to move up 4 spots. lol

This does not help them or RGIII. When's he going to get the top flight help he needs?

    Thanks!

I'm not surprised by this. It would suck if we lose Freeney and get nothing in return. At least we will have the picks to rebuild and the cap space to sign a free agent or two in 2013.

Next year, the Colts are going to get pounded, but the feeling won't be worse than last year.

I know RG3 looks like a great prospect but my God, the Redskins overpaid for him. The guy hasn't played a down and he's already worth four high picks. Crazy.

    Redskins overspending as usual.

That is what I expect from one of the worst owners of the NFL. Two firsts and two seconds?

Yeah, it's crazy. What's even more crazy is that chances the Rams would pick RG3 were slim to none with Bradford there. This is a total act of desperation.

Act of desperation? hardly. Shanahan is a seasoned pro dude. WHen it comes to the most important position in the whole nfl(QB), if you think RG3 is your guy, then you do whatever it takes to get him. You always do whatever it takes to get a QB of the future. A lot of times number 1 picks are misses, and if RG3 pans out, which he will, then the 3(2 actually) number 1 picks should be mid teens to mid 20s, since the winning will come. RG3 will be beastly. Rat face shanahan is on his way to building a damn good team.

    You lost me there.

Shannahan hasn't won shit since the Broncos were caught paying players under the table to stay under the cap and had Elway.

Shanahan is a very good coach with a great record. However, I'm wondering if Snyder forced his hand...

Belichick has brady, whats your point? He has 2 superbowls, and lots of success in D town. He hasnt won shit because he only has 2 seasons with the Horrid skins situation and hasnt coached since the broncos. He is bringing stability to that organization.

Guys, this is a great move, no matter how many ways you mow it over.

My point is he paid a lot for an unknown quantity and even if it pans out, it was still a huge gamble.

Also, Brady was a 6th round pick drafted by Belichick, Elway was already in the team when Shanahan took over.

THats why i said, "whats your point?". ALl 1st round picks are gambles, but this is a gamble you got to make if you think RG3 is your guy. Lulz to people with a franchise QB saying "horrible move." Yeah, lets see how you feel after brady retires or begins to decline. It was a good move,...period.

hook, line and sinker as expected.

always the same guys in every thread.

anyway, i wonder how influential this will be as a precedent , or just snyder being snyder.

if bradford stays healthy, and the rams draft well, they should have a nice set up

    They'll straighten him out here...

As long as he does crash his Lambourghini on the expressway and then leave the scene of the accident, he should be fine...:D

Compared to the last GM its hard not to love him.

Marshall isnt always right in the head, but with a decent team around him that should win more games than it loses he may not be much of a headache.

Edit: Looks like they signed Campbell as a back up quarterback. Thats a major upgrade. If they'd had him last season, they would of made the playoffs at least.
