Think he's staying in charge of the primavera, supposedly Seedorf wants Stam as assistant and Crespo on the training team. Galliani misunderstood and offered Crespo a 5 year contract worth €3M a year.

I'm sure if Seedorf still wants to play, he could always do what Diego Lopez did at Cagliari. Have Tassotti be the official coach while he plays and tends to matters on the pitch. I'm sure it can be done he just wouldn't be (on paper) the actual manager.

The last thing Milan need is another pensioner

Not so sure. He couldn't do worse than the rest of the Under 30's. Very few over 35's can still play the game at a higher level but guys like maybe Pirlo, Totti and Seedorf will always find room somewhere.

I'm glad for Clarence Seedorf. I'm remember when he debuted for Sampdoria at the age of 19 years ago. Kind of sad to see him stop playing because he could probably still play better than most players younger than him. If I'm not mistaken, he will be the first black manger in the Serie A. Its about time!

Napoli had a black Brazilian in the 90s and there was also Liverani before he got sacked.

It is good to see diversity on the benchs in Serie A though

Yeah Cané. I think he was mostly a care taker coach though. I read he was a great player in his day but even though I'm getting old, he was before my time....

Oh wow. Bogarde and Reiziger were horrible! I read about Bogarde and how he went broke and got fat.

Bogarde was the one who was commuting from amsterdam to Chelsea because he refused to leave as nobody would pay him as much.

Don't blame him for that. Why take a pay cut? Still I never could understand how these players spend so much and end up broke. I mean even if they live off their interest rates they make a great living for most people. You figure in Europe anyway, if you have 1 million Euros in the bank at 5% interest, you get 50K a year. That is a great salary in most of the continent regardless of how bad times get and most of these guys get and earn more than just 1 million....

Who gives a ********. He was not hired because of his skin color. We will never become a color blind society with shitheads like this.

He was actually decent when he tried though but once the managers didnt want him at Chelsea he was making so much money he simply gave up trying to win a place but did enough not to break his contract by turning up for training and sitting on the bench

Now hes bankrupt apparently by wait for it....seedorf a long term friend has apparently offered him a way out and back into the game if he wants it! lol

"He's fat, he's round, he hasn't got a pound, Its Winston Bogarde, Its Winston Bogarde.

You know the FIGC really has to do something about firing and re-hiring former managers. I really think it should be banned.

Considering coaches are prohibited from taking another team in Italy and are still under contract, nothing wrong with it. The biggest problem in Lega Calcio are the idiot owners.

It just looks pretty bad in the eyes of the rest of the world when talking about Italian soccer in general. I applaud Rino Gattuso who said in a TV interview that if Zampa recalls him at Palermo, he will not accept a re-hire. Of course, anyone can say anything until it happens. I think Rino is in hot water though.
