As far as I'm concerned, what MM has led this club to stand for from the top down is bargain-basement mediocrity. The comment "somebody who has a strong vision that fits within that culture and brand" is contradictory within itself when you compare the current culture and brand with the current reality. While a look at the club throughout the entire history is one that is fairly good, the trajectory is bad and the culture preceded the trajectory.

This has to be known by Precourt and I personally think that we will not be retaining MM after this season concludes.

Perhaps you missed MM being in charge from 06-09? There was good trajectory then (sans the end of 09). I think he may need to answer for keeping RW so long(which might not have been his choice) but to think he has done nothing for this club is completely ignorant of history.

I'm not sure that's correct as the CBA controls some of that, for certain (for example, it designates the kind of offer that may be made to a player with experience if you pick them at certain levels of the re-entry draft). We also do not know what is in a GA contract pertaining to future contracts after the GA contract expires. I'm sure there is something as it would be unfair to graduate a player from GA status (which can happen at any time) and then instantly be able to cut his salary. Tchani was not a free agent when he was re-signed.
