Going to the Swansea game tomorrow.advice needed. Is it a good idea to collect the tickets from Scholsey and co outside the allocated turnstile at 2pm or will it be too busy? On the way back we have planned to take a 6.48 train is that in good time.will we get a cab at the busy times.
It may be tough to get a cab right after the game ends so you maybe cutting it close to reach Lime Street
I have read elsewhere, just follow the crowd and go towards lime street a walk can take 40 mins.6:48 might seem reasonable anyone with experience out of anfield.
the game should be over at 5pm right? I imagine that even walking you should be ok? (but then again I'm not one that knows - haha)
I have never walked it. I usually go to a pub and wait awhile and then get a cab. Maybe some locals can pipe up.
That is true lb.I will speak to those at the ground see what the regulars normally do.I am sure a lot of cab sharing takes place and maybe Scholsey himself has arranged his travel.
OK, two of my execs didn't make it, I have two spare for the Executive Club if anyone is up for a last minute match!
So it begins! (With a travel day after a quick pop into the office). Wonder how much fun I can have at the airports?
Have a great trip. Where are you flying into? I remember getting a dirty look when I told a Manc customs guy at Manchester Airport that the purpose of my trip was to watch Liverpool beat Citeh.
haha! yeah flying to Manchester - easiest from the States it seems. Otherwise it was London, then fly again or train to Liverpool and looking at all avenues I would have wasted another several hours doing that.
Yeah if you are staying in the City Centre in Liverpool you can get a train directly from the Manchester Airport to Liverpool Lime Street. You don't even have to leave the airport and can push a handcart with your bags right to the platform.
Oh really????? Scholesy you are TOO awesome! Let me get to the airport from work in about 20 mins and then I will send that email.
Been known to lose my voice at sporting events! (Must clear with scholesy - and the decorum of the seats)
