In all seriousness though, this is going to turn into a sad story. I'll never forget the day I learned that my cousin killed himself at the age of 19. His suicide note said, "This is all I can think of for now." For now? WTH? You're gonna figure something else out in ten minutes?

IIRC, it's because Australia jumped ship and is now part of Asia. Tahiti was the winner of the Oceania confederation.

Yeah, but that left New Zealand as the only thing close to a big kid on the OFC block. So how they're not in the CONFED Cup mix is beyond me.

EDIT: Just looked it up. The Kiwis finished THIRD in the 2012 OFC Cup of Nations behind both Tahiti and New Caledonia. This can officially headline the WTF thread of your choice.

I was with him for a little bit the day after he found out he wasnt selected (for an event Crew Union was helping out with). I've never felt so bad for an athlete, he was pissed to say the least, but took it better than I think most would. Especially when they took some USL kids.
