I gotta agree a bit with Kev. I did the easy thing, as I do on most websites I want to learn more about, and clicked on the "About BigSoccer." All that gives is the list of people who are important to running the BigSoccer business. I think there should be a mission statement/philosophy, FAQ, short history, etc. on the "About BigSoccer" link.
I read the Customer Service forums regularly and don't remember any talk of getting rid of the [R] rule.
It's been essentially gotten rid of. Individual forums can agree to use it, but mods are not being asked to strictly police it on a global basis, IIRC.
In the Korea forum. There seems to be little notice or any explanation at all by the moderators for most of their actions (editing a post or closing a thread) and it seems like they are deciding on things with their own personal feeling/opinion instead of the feeling of the forum. I understand that BS is cracking down racism and general stupid comments, but BS Korea has almost turned into a pg forum and random banter that cannot really be easily determined(but clearly assumed by a moderator or an agitated member) as racist or stupid, gets immediately edited or has the thread closed own. A thread should be allowed to live until there is clear stupidity or clear racism regardless of reputation of a poster(unless they are clearly trolling)
The one active mod 12thwarrior is losing it with deleting posts, closing threads for reasons that have nothing to do with forum rules. It's getting a bit nutty. All we needs are some objectivity and consistency and bad modding leads to po'ed posters which only leads to more problem behavior... It would be nice to have rules spelled out and have some fair application of rules instead of capricious deleting posts, closing threads and the like.
