    I think the New England Tea Men of the NASL played one indoor season in
    Providence.

    I hope the new league has just 1 point goals. I know the MPS has been around for a long time and I have seen great games with MPS. I guess am just old school when it comes to the scoring system.

    It's been a rumored indoor destination almost that long. Shelts was talking about Providence in the Steve Ryan era.

    They were really close around 2005 or 2006. It involved MISL having a team that was called Providence but playing some games in Rhode Island and some games at the Mohegan Sun casino. It fell through for a number of reasons.

    To be honest, I haven't heard of this one though. There is a new NPSL (outdoor) team that started last year, maybe they have something to do it. I will give Kabba a call.
