You mean like the fact that our guys keep getting injured? How do you address that? Because it seems like the team has to deal with a freakishly large number of injuries, especially in defense and defensive midfield, and especially in the past couple of months. The best run of games the team has had, other than getting "lucky" this week, happened to coincide with having a stable line-up. So, yeah, this team has earned all of their points just by dealing with everything that's being going on. Go ahead and piss on their accomplishments, but the alarm bells ring hollow. More than anything this team needs to get healthy.

Never quite understood the mindset of blaming the players and coaches when the team loses, but chalking all victories up to luck. Can't have it both ways, either give credit where credit is due or stop blasting players/coaches for loses.

    Player ratings vs Philly

Gaudette 7 Made a crucial save early in the game and was solid throughout
Borrajo 4.5 Made some good passes and did well on the attack but was burned a number of times on D
Hulk 5 Played well positionally but his passing out of the back was not very good.
Conde 7 Best defender for the Bulls this game. Steady and calming presence.
Miller 4.5 Got beat up pretty good this game. Nothing horrible nothing special from Roy vs Philly. His crossing was poor.
Le Toux 6 Ran his off but missed a sitter. Seb has done well in his 1st week as a Bull. He can only get better once he starts to gel with the team
Dax 8 MOTM for me. He is the true leader of this team.
Lindy 6 Looked a bit tired but he was good tracking back on D.
Lade 7.5 We need 5 more like this kid. He is tenacious and runs the whole game. His decisions going forward could have been better but I know this get btter with more minutes and some good coaching.
Cooper 7 After missing two excellent chances he redeemed himself and scored 2 lovely header goals.
KFC/FrankenCoop is a hand full when he is confident.
Titi 6 Fitness is still an issue for Titi but I am glad he played this week.

Barkla NA Injured early in the 1st half ...hope he isn't hurt too bad

Basically agree with all except I thought Miller played best game as Red Bull, I 'd give him a 7 and Codne an 8 as he was great!, I'd cut Statue some slack as he got better as game went on so I'd gicve him a soild 6.5. Henry was gassed at about 70 minute mark, shoul dhave been subbed.

I too will cut Holgersson some slack for the poor passes because defensively he was fantastic. I think he always wants to keep possession and only as a last resort hoof the ball out, so he's looking for the Tim Ream pass. Unfortunately he doesn't quite have Tim's accuracy. The brain's there, now he just needs to get his feet on the same page.

Many of you guys are still holding on to his weak start. For the past BUNCH of games Holgerson has played quite well. He's made some very nice defensive plays while limiting his mistakes.

Give the guy a fresh look...

I agree.. Trading Coop? I suppose just about everyone is tradable depending on what you are getting in return, BUT looking to trade the guy? I don't get that whatsoever.

I would give Miller higher marks if he could make a decent pass forward or into the box, same goes for the Statue.. Conde was good but Philly was shite so I factored that in.... Where the hell was Freddie Adu...apparently coaches decision to not bring him... Hackworth is a fool! Fred is their best player from a creative standpoint!

For me the Markus was decent...he is definitely playing better than he did at the beginning of the year but he gives the ball away sometimes in his own defensive 3rd and that has got to stop.

I really havn't seem him giving the ball away in our end all that often. It has probably happened, but is it really some sort of epidemic with the guy?

Earlier in the year it was, we conceded 2-3 goals because of botched clearances, but it hasn't been an issue for awhile now. He still gives the ball away, but he does by blasting it forward, I can't recall any really worrisome passes in the back from him lately.

Of course is a way; you don't sign Methuselah or injury prone players, If you can keep on the floor 90% of the time during the season your players, you are doing good, but if some of them will be 50 or more % of the time out for injuries, that mean you aren't doing a good job in signing players.... We know before hand that Tainio, Henry, Marquez, Conde, Solli were injury prone players and that where ever they were playing at the time before they sign with Soler, they wasn't playing even 50% of the time, because almost all the time were injured, so, what is the mystery nowp.....

Yes, yes, yes. We get it. You are the all seeing eye and presciently know everything. As I recall, I was the one trumpeting to you all the young American players the Red Bulls had acquired in the offseason, while you were still bitching about the team having too many foreigners. Lo and behold now you are going on about how Lade should have been starting all along.

You're like a bull in a china shop stampeding here and there pretty much making a mess of everything. There's usually more nuance to these issues than you're willing to accept. Only two of those players you mentioned were known to have serious injury issues, Tainio and Conde, and Conde's problems were a recent thing. I still think Conde was worth the risk. The other players either didn't have those kind of injury issues or weren't injured period. Solli, for example, has missed relatively little time. He just happens to be out right now along with everyone else. It's unfortunate but explainable.
